Have you got hold of a g70nc yet? From what I have seen online it looks like it has the same software with the smart tv stuff. I am holding out on buying one till I see some English reviews.

G70b is the next gen to the g70a. I just got th 28in g70b one of the biggest differences is its smart TV capabilities since the g70b has tizen operating system built in.

This monitor has been incredibly annoying with not posting back quickly from sleep/idle when using a nvidia gpu. The issue doesn't happen with an AMD video card. DisplayPort and HDMI both do it because the game mode takes too long to toggle/remember the settings, and my second monitor awakes too quickly, see if you run into the same issue when running dual monitors that are not the same brand, with the second monitor connected via DisplayPort.

It should work as long as its under 60fps/hz. RUclips, xbox apple 4k tv and I am sure a usb stick would take it like a regular input and picture settings. It works pretty well on these G60B and G70B monitors.
This could be game changing. I am just worried about latency and accuracy for competitive FPS. Will it work well with a variable frame rate? Wondering when they will bring this tech to phones - would be perfect for that. Love it on my TVs - its always on.
Bad for competitive fps greatly increased latency, however competitive games are extremely easy to get high fps anyway, so it's more useful for graphically intense single player style games.

I love it on my older 2018 Q8FN. I used it on everything apart from first person shooters. Locked 60 fps games feel 120 Or unlocked games I can run at 4k 60 if my system cant pump out the native 4k 120hz.

Thats tough. The LG has the sphere 2.0 led but the G70B has motion plus and smart apps. I would say both being ips look the G70B may be overall best as 32" and motion and smart apps make it better overall.

This monitor I had the g52a and returned it. Wqhd at 165hz but m xbox series s did not like it. And colors looked like garbage cause the g52a Is a va panel while the g70a g70b is an ips panel.

Sorryvftiend. The Neo's do not feature this. This is only so far available on the G6, G70B, Neo G7 43", OLED G8 & G9 OLED. I love this feature too and wish it were on my Neos. No update is planned tho prob a revision.. a future new version.. but when? maybe in the fall but no news yet.
A 3060 ti is a great gpu. A 1440p monitor would be best now days but if you need 4k or these smart features it works well. The coresync lighting is pretty bright.
@@DisplayReality I'm glad to hear that. I recently purchased the S90C, although I'm really loving it, it doesn't suit my needs, it's great for console gaming, but no that great for PC Gaming. The feature I like the most about the S90C is making 60fps games look 120fps, and I don't really notice any difference in input lag. I'll get the G8 now that they're on sale. Thanks for the response.
For all you gamers looking for this comment, you cannot have this activated while in game mode and tbh i wouldnt know why you would. This isnt good for 144hz or really anything above 60fps. so if youre pc or nextgen console prob shouldnt use this and just stay on default "game mode"
At 1:20 I show you can. Why wouldnt you. Dont you want standard games at 30fps like zelda to look smoother at the lowest input lag vs any other brand on the market? Its a great option. Anything above 60hz it wont work regardless or mode

How is the brightness on this monitor? I have odessy g50A and Xbox series x, the brightness in g50a is ok, but after watching and reading many reviews about g70A and g70B, it seems way too dark, do you recommend it for a player who playing a lot of horror dark games?
The G70B 27" is an innolux panel (like the G70A 27") while the 32" is from BOE. The G70B 32" is brighter. But the contrast is worse because the zones really dont do anything and they are hard to see turn off.
I use GMP on my samsung Tvs. The G6, G70B and 43" Neo G7 use this. Its new for these new smart monitors etc. Its just that ppl dont know how to access it. Vrr needs to be disabled for it to show on consoles. Its disabled for pc. Smart apps videos can use it to.
While I have not specifically tried this config... The motion plus only works or kicks in at 60hz and below. So yes if on pc at 60hz. Remember motion plus is sort of like dlss 3 frame generation. Sort of... but software while dlss 3 is hardware.
I would assume this is going to be on the new 43" G7 that I am currently waiting on to be delivered. I will have to try it out if so as long as it doesnt give that soap opera effect

The 32" G70B has a BOE panel. (Seems lots of Samsung Tvs this yr use BOE ips) but the G70B should be the same accross all regions.

You can get the LG gq950 for a 100 bucks more, and it's better in almost every way. I wouldn't buy this thing for more than 700 bucks
