I see a lot of crashes at the track, mostly from drifting. Have seen some pretty impressive repairs - pulling chassis legs straight, entire front cut replacements on Skylines, hell, even a cut and weld roof replacement on an S14 that turned out okay. But none of the cars I've seen repaired have been as bad as this one. Usually it gets re-shelled at this point or you just get another car.
Have you had the frame measured to see how much twist is going to have to be pulled out of it first? I can see that the body gaps aren't lining up indicating some moderate sway.
Have you had an expert level body shop technician look over the car for their professional opinion? Would really be concerned with the overall structured integrity of the car. Your M4 took one hell of a beating to protect you and the passenger great job to BMW on their well engineered build quality.
I don't know about that. I've done probably 15 track days and if I paid $750 every time it would cost me $11250. I would have to do a lot of damage to make up for that. Probably better to set aside the money every time you track and then you have a fund if something were to happen.
Good luck with it all mate, will make a great watch and hopefully grow your channel. If you end up buying the suspension parts check Lemforder as they're exactly the same as the BMW M parts but half the cost.
the frame is gone and most of the body panels are broken, i would buy a different m4 or normal 4 series and swap the drivetrain and other stuff, but this m4 is really strong
Just curious if you’ve pulled the back interior panel covers yet? I never want to be a debby downer, but if your strut towers are destroyed or tweaked, and the rear subframe is damaged judging by the back left wheel. Good luck homie, I hate to see this crap happen to anyone on the track. Godspeed friend.
@@瞻高-b9q its all about the journey. But since i dont really have to put most stock parts and its be strip to the shell on the inside and the only fix i need is the body panels mostly, dont see it as much cost
@@KiranPatel-fk1pg i would love a clean m4 ofcourse. But doesn't seem you saw the video. I'm so gonna end up buying a newer M4 for a daily and keeping this one as full blown race car
Good luck man! I've been in a similar situation when I crashed my CBR at the track, tho it wasn't nearly as costly. Maybe you can get some love from the channels that have some money and pull and get a bit of help putting it back together. Hopefuly the frame isn't too out of shape. It's heartbreaking for me to see your car in such a shape, so i know it's got to be killing you. Thanks for posting the vids, I know you'll be back on the track before too long.
The repair will never happen, this won't be a series, unless you can find one of those guys from the Chinese salvage channels that cut cars to pieces and throw all sorts of rubbish back together
@@ARomanRacing You know whats funny? The house has a badass garage with an apartment above it and was thinking of renting it out to people when they go to VIR. Kinda like an AirBnB, but only for racers.
To be completely honest man, this isn't worth your time. There is no way that frame is straight and not only is it going to cost thousands to straighten it, it will never be the same again after that.
This man is in denial.. it’s toast friend, there’s no going back
😂
I would get a flood car and swap everything.... tbh this thing looks too far gone..
Fr bro the structural thing will be too much of an headache...
Arthur tussik enters the chat, bro check his channel he fixes cars that are in really worse shapes
Any updates on the rebuild?

Thanks for sharing the journey. Looking forward to the next steps
Here to support you. Truly sad and sorry to see what happened to the m4. But best wishes and prayers on the rebuild I’ll be following along
Thanks!💪
the moral of the story. always get the insurance on the track. $750 small potatoes versus this mess.
Im not trolling i promise!

@@AndrewMalkin agreed. or buy a car that doesnt cost $750 to track.
Da Nile isn’t just a river in Africa. Remember when you thought you were going to rebuild this m4
Well, brother, you got your work cut out for you! Hats off to you!
You can rebuild anything with time, but time is money and this project is going to take a very long time… good luck man 👍
Let's go part 1 baby! Phoenix will be back before you know it. I forget you are here in the DMV I keep thinking you are in Cali.
Used to live in SoCal 8 years ago. I miss it alot!
@@ARomanRacing That's where I want to move. The DMV car scene is too hateful for me. It has nothing to do with cars anymore.

I stay with you Roman, don’t quiet!!! Hope 👍🏾🙏🏾
Hey are you still rebuilding this? I can't find PART 2.
This is gonna be expensive lol
🤔 hmm around 6k lol

Will definitely check soon, havent check all the suspension towers yet. The back wheel one of the arms was pretty bent
don't have any parts but good luck with restoring it!
What's going on with the m3?
Keep the series going Roman 🙏🏽 #projectPhoenix
Will do, just gotta get thru this holidays first and my current family trip im on right now before they go on lockdown again everywhere lol
you still alive?
It would probably cost you more to rebuild than to buy another one
🤷♂️ many poeple have already done it. It is what it is
@@ARomanRacing I also follow FlyingGato and he just rebuilt his crashed FK8. It was quite a joirney too so best of luck.

🤣🤷♂️ its kinda like the whole intro. Gotta go everything first. 1 step at a time
second subaru guy i see that crashes a M4 after upgrading from a subaru. Its like they are so used to AWD

Will do very soon 😍
