Hey man, I know it's been years, but I wanted to comment and see how you've been. I've watched most of your videos throughout your youtube career and loved the subaru series and all the racing you did. I also want to thank you for your service as well and for coming home safely. What I wanted to ask which I dont even know if you will see this, is how you made your custom front splitter on the sti, if you still know the dimensions or how to make it, and if I could possibly buy one off of you or seek guidance on making one myself. I've been building my wrx for the past 3 years and have gone through multiple setups and styles and turbos and power ranges and have now just decided to make it a time attack car. Curerntly, it's on a socal v3 turbo with fbo and supporting mods, full e85 flex fuel tune, and making close to 500whp now. I have beyond gutted the car and have every single chassis brace and solid billet mount and bushing, etc, and have a cage installed and massive 70" time attack wing. I am looking at getting a front splitter like yours and then a rear diffuser eventually but wanted to reach out to you in hopes that 1 not only youre doing good and are okay, but also 2 figure out how you did it. I haven't seen too many other styles of splitters like you made, and I just love the design you came up with. Anyways, I have no clue if you'll see this or not, but I hope you're at least doing good man. Semper Fi!
Amazing what a difference the Coilover does for a car, no just looks but going around the track. I wish you didn't have so many projects that you are working on. I could use your knowledge and expertise installing all the crap I got in boxes for my car! Good job, marine! Keep your chin up!!!
my head exploded when you pointed out the issue that slowed you down, lol I learned that the hard way as I punctured my boot lol 😆🤦🏾♂️ I couldn't figure out why one side was easy and other hard but man after hearing you explain it I was on the floor laughing at myself lol 😆😂 should have found your channel earlier 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️
I actually found the stock suspension fairly decent on track, what really lacked was the stock brakes. Have some DBA T3 rotors and Forza FP3 pads in now and it feels 10x better, can't wait for the next track day! Looking forward to seeing more track action with your WRX!
Hey man. I just remember watching your channel on the sti build years ago. Bummer you sold the STI, and wrecked your new BMW😮. I hope all is well my friend. I would just tell the bank to come get the BMW. I hope this experience didn’t cost you too much. I miss your videos bro. Take care.
I remember seeing a white WRX in your friend's garage (I live in the same neighborhood) and thinking that might've been you. I drive a silver WRX and my wife has a blue one. Maybe I will stop and say "Hi" if I see you again.
Im still around lol, just life has been up side down at the moment and trying to come back, eventually ill come back, just got alot of figuring out firsr
I do have other videos doing the coils. Its really aint that hard, little.time consuming. Do botb sides at the same time. Unbolt speed sensor and brake line. Rear is a little different, 3 bolts to take off, use a jack to lift the hub up and down to line up the holes. To adjust do one side first and measure, once you go your desired height then measure and then do the other side
What are the apex wheel tire specs? Did they fit without issues on your sti? I'm asking since I'd like to run a 275 on my 19 sti just looking for setups that are working
Apex EC-7 18x9.5 +38 on the Toyo RRs 275/35/18. I have to go on the front max negative camber the top hat of the coil and adjust on the camber bolt because the tires will touch the front coils. The rears are pretty close to the fender, not rubbed but just in case i left it high enough
@@DubDriver17 it can be repaired, just will never be a street car anymore. The outer shell has to be cut off and if the skeleton inside is bent, then that can ve bent back and a new skin on, before anything a nice and pretty strong roll cage would be built and welded in parts of the inner skeleton for rigidity and alot of extra metal not needed will be cut for weight savings
Lots of things have happened lol, no moneys, taking a break and trying to find myself. Coming back soon, got something in the works. WRX is well still stock 🤣
@@desnominate5429 i am wondering if they are going to finally releaae a new model or what. If there will be anything really different or like they are supposedly saying that the new STI will have the ascent motor in it. Idk haha. Maybe i will wait and see. @@ARomanRacing there will be no 2021 models. So 2022 will be the new motor one. 2020 is the last ej. Confirmed with multiple dealers when looking for 2020 sti’s for my buddy.
@jakefox3677 i really havent 🤣. I mean not that i gave up but so many things happening and kinda want to go all out when i come back which is very soon

Oh man, coming from coils back to stock suspension plus no negative camber felt like i was about to go off the track

Hey Roman I have an 18 WRX and thinking about lowering it. I know whiteline makes a roll center kit, how do I know if it need it?
Its always good to upgrade specially if you go to low. If you do a slight drop i dont see no need

What’s going on with the M4? Is done?
Lol, untouched for now focusing on some life changes before i get back all into again
