I'm so pleased with how to airbrushing turned out! The colours are so vivid and are going to look amazing behind the black flower appliques. There's a few little mistakes (dribbled paint!!) but for my first fully airbrushed dress I'm really happy with the result.

out wonderfully. You may not have painted a dress before, but you did your homework to find out what was going to work on the fabric. We all make a few dribbles, but after a while, you just know how to fix your messups! I'm sure the black flowers will cover the dribbles and you won't even know they were there! Thank you!
Thank you. Yes - the flowers will completely hide the dribbles and I know to be more careful with how I hold the airbrush next time!

I'm fine. I took a bit of time out to do some long overdue painting in the house. It started with just painting over a feature wall and ended up with us completely redecorating the living room and dining room! I think I'm 'nesting' and wanting the house to be lovely because we're home so much! Hope you're ok. Thanks for watching.

I would have wore a mask when spraying. The dress is looking very cool as we get to watch the process of coloring the dress I think the bust color should have had more black to make it darker... but very pretty never less
I didn't make the top part darker because I'm going to be putting the black flowers on it and wanted to keep some contrast 🙂
How do you set the dye when it's done?!
Also, do you do customs?
On polyester chiffon fabric?

I was the same. When the yellow went on I knew that the proportions of the colours were right. I'm doing ok thanks. I'm finally healthy, just struggling with anxiety with everything going on in the world, like a lot of people! We're just staying home and staying safe. Hope you're ok. Stay safe. So probably a weird question, but after putting that much paint on the dress, does the dress still smell like airbrush paint? If not, how long did it take for it to "air out".
The paint I use doesn't have a strong painty smell at all and I didn't notice a smell on the dress when I was working on it after airbrushing it at all.

Of course you couldn't mix a magenta. Magenta is a primary colour. Red and blue are not.
Since when? I was taught red, blue and yellow were the primary colours for paint when I did my art degree!
That's not exactly correct. Paint is a subtractive medium (that is it absorbs light rather than emitting it) so the primaries are magenta cyan and yellow.
