What an amazing build. I'd like to see what it looks like with some transparent bricks for splashes. I don't think such a large whale could breach the surface without causing some splashes. Thanks for all the awsome videos.

put a dingy with guys with scared faces right where he is going to splashdown. Would be very funny and make it more dense

Great brick-built but minifig-ish scale whale! The angles are what make it so clever - in multiple places. The slightly discoloured items are hardly noticeable and actually might that not simply reflect that they are under the water?
Loved it - we had a whale of a time watching. Thank you. 🐳

Amazing!!!! Would love to see some splash wedges or even a brick built splash with trans pieces and some white even, showing the force with which he is breaching the surface...and then a small dingy with terrified occupants beneath his landing zone!

You have truly outdone yourself this time my friend. Great job. You know a few fishermen pointing with surprised faces at the bow of the boat is a requirement. I do like him turned a bit with more blue facing the viewer.

I really like how you do it in the cabinet with magnets so you see both over and under the water both or the oil rig and the boats. And for the whale it was really amazing. It gives the entire scene so much life.

Fantastic use of angles to show movement, it really highlights the benefit of the glass and magnets too as it looks great from all directions . A few added splashes will really add to the effect, but not sure if that will look odd from below the glass looking up

My only complain is when the fins are aligned with the camera, i can't unsee the giant living white and blue banana. But it's my fault. Thanks brain... 😭
Did you do some weight resistance tests with your magnets to see how much they can take ?
Does the waiting between having an idea, sourcing all the needed parts almost one by one, and be able to finally built it isn't too frustrating ? November to april seems so long !
Anyway, i'm learning a lot with your MOCs building process throughout your videos. It really helps ! So, thanks again !

Normally I don't tell people to submit their MOCs into Lego Ideas but this one needs to be. It is absolutely heads above any other brick built animal I have seen. Instead of the magnets you would have to add some more ball joints.
I would suggest maybe building a second whale and having it swimming under the water to represent a real live whale pod.

This is a great build! Do not bother to exchange the dark blue angled slope bits just because of a differing colour, as the slight variation in colour just adds to the organic feel of the creation (although if you think the eventual scratches of the used bricks are annoying just feel free to...). This also goes for the greyish joints between the flippers and the body - they are just fine nuances of colour to make the whole figure look that much more interesting and natural. I know that you usually don't care much about whether your additions to your city or other creations are natural-looking or not, but in this case it might just give that "wow"-effect...
