    2 reasons why he didnt leave the interview - 1. wanted to know what they know and thought he could outplay them, 2. he apparently is a serial cheater and a predator and the interrogator was very friendly, he probably thought she was flirty and that brushed his ego. One thing about law enforcement jobs is most if not all require you to submit to any questioning or interrogations/investigations from any law enforcement agencies without any problems. Asking for a lawyer or walking out when they tell you you’re free to go during questioning is completely legal, but it might cost them their job or mess up pay/rank, so most guilty cops like this will sit through this because refusing to do so for law enforcement officers is rare and not a good look. On duty incidents are a bit different, waiting for union reps and lawyers to show up is standard procedure for the most part for on duty/union involved events.

    • @JAM661
      @JAM661 9 месяцев назад +3

      Well the fact they got all the warrent before they questioned him pretty much shows they know everything and now they are just tidying up loose ends. Talking or not talking would not made a difference at this point. Basically if the police ask you about something, it is best to ask if they have any warrents and if they say no, just say will I will pratice my 5th admentment rights until I have a lawyer and you question me with one present. Then expect to pay a bunch of money. But most cops sign a contract that require them to cooperate with any investigation or they'll be let go. At this point you really do not have a lot of time to strategize. 😊

So she used an incredibly successful strategy to play into his NPD traits making it all about *him* *him* *him* So when that approach is successful with such a narcissist, it clouded all of any judgement he had and she skillfully walked him right into all of it!
      But it's STILL *SO* disturbing that he was able to get a deal that would allow him to be back out on the streets in his 40's!
      I say that the *only* and *best* way to assure that any other monsters out there who want to hurt children is to start castrating them! I'm VERY confident that ALL would-be monsters and sickos out there will DEFINITELY be deterred from hurting children when they find out that they will be castrated!
      Sort of like how it is in other parts of the world where they cut a hand off of thieves..when said thieves are released from prison, not only do they have to live without a hand, but also they're ostracized from their community because it's blatantly obvious what they are!

But I’m glad that he didn’t and dug himself into a deeper hole. His prison stay is going to be very brutal for the fact that he was a cop and a pedo on top of that. Man ,especially in California I don’t know if this was a state or federal case but I actually hope that it was a state case because in the Feds the pedo’s and cops there are more protective prison yards than there are in California state prisons. I hope that he gets fucked up everyday that he is there and that he is holding people’s pockets LMFAO. People like this that are cops and do these types of sick things deserve the worst punishment.

      I think the idea is that since they are both at risk in prison and they can just do home detention so a lot of them over noticed will do 10 at the max and usually get off on good behavior and slap an anklet on them so they don't have to bother with protecting people like that. I'm not sure about every state but some states you can see the public registry with both their home and work address that anyone can look up (after agreeing that they won't use the information for malicious purposes ofc). Unfortunately it doesn't do much because they don't always get the help they need (most offenders are severally mentally ill) and they can just end up cutting the anklet and booking it. I think law enforcement realizes that public shame often keeps most in check as they live the rest of their adult lives seen as dangerous people and will likely not reoffend due to the public knowing the person. I don't work in law enforcement but that's what I've noticed a lot with people like this.

      Oh this is all too typical. An alarming portion of police are no better than the criminals they lock up every day. Even worse are correctional officers in jails/prison. They often are even worse than the inmates, especially they way they'll treat and take advantage of female prisoners. It really does seem to me police departments prefer relatively dumb people who don't ask questions and often are corrupt and have many skeletons in their closet (far more than the most of us). The only times I've encountered really bright minded police are investigators, or police who otherwise don't just patrol the streets. The ones who aren't out there to lock people up on small charges.

Not only am I 200 miles from home, I have to call my wife and tell her I'm 200 miles from home. And why. She's sitting there with our two little kids thinking "For WHAT?" And when you get home, you can't go home. You can't go to work. You've lost your family and your job. Nowhere to go and this is before you even get to court. And THEN, a few weeks later, while you're trying to survive, you have a guest spot on TV. "I need you to take a seat". And your wife and kids have to deal with this. Your kids' classmates see the show. Your wife's co-workers see the show. Now your kids are getting picked on, your wife loses all of her friends and most likely her job because they're thinking "He's a pedo, she knew it, and he was around our kids". Even though the wife didn't know, and the kids have nothing to do with it. But people are going to think I molested my kids too. When i was a teenager growing up in north Philadelphia i was arrested probably about 10 or 11 times. Mostly because the cops knew i was one of the leaders of a group we called SCB1. They knew that anything happened in that neighborhood i was either a part of it or knew about it. They would smatch me up with some lie then start that "good cop we're your friend routine ". Each time i knew to keep my mouth shut. I never said a word but that made them mad. One time when i was 15 i was heading home at 10:15 pm because curfew was 10:30 PM during the week and i was bored. Officers luzinski and Staab pulled up next to meet just 20 seconds from my house. They started talking nicely and just BSing. Finally they said "ok we're done have a good night" i started home. They jumped out of the car and arrested me for curfew violation because it was now 10:35. Thank God my father saw the entire thing and wa just looking to see what happened. I had beef telling him the things i was getting arrested for where lies trying to get me to talk. Not all where but whatever. Now he saw this and went straight to the police station. After flipping out my father who was a big guy had the police scared. Literally. It turned out those 2 cops where no longer aloud to arrest me. After that i would give them the middle finger every time they drove by. If they witnessed me doing something they could hold me on the spot and have other police come and arrest me but they needed at least 1 person who witnessed it. They never caught me again. And i never talked to a single cop when arrested. We all knew that.

I am no prude, but even with the pictures, I have never slept with either one of the 2 shy women, but I didn´t rub it in their faces, I just asked why?
      Maybe if we were dating or whatever then fine, but BOTh of those women are only very casual aquainences, 1 of them was sitting in front of me in a bus and I didn´t even know until she texted me later, "I was sitting in front of you on the bus today" 'It sounds weird, but humans are funny like that sometimes, THAt is how shy she is, too shy to talk to me face to face AND so shy that she sent nude pics of herself I guess to force me to make the first move?

    The amount of time these criminals get, is criminal in itself. Crimes like this, especially when it involves minors, should be getting harsher sentences. 10 to 12 years for sex with a minor is disgusting. Absolutely disgusting. You say "get up and walk out right away" if they say you aren't under arrest or being detained, but when someone does do that they are automatically looked at as suspicious or even guilty. Because the cops think and sometimes even say "if he didn't do anything wrong, why won't he answer any questions instead of running away." I think this is exactly why he is sitting there answering the questions, trying to play it cool, have a conversation like all is normal and he did nothing wrong, doesnt have anything to hide. Because he's thinking from a cop's point of view that if he leaves it will put more suspicion on him.

      His sentence is 12 years which probably means 8-9 years served unless California exempts child sex crimes from parole.
      He will likely spend most or all of it in a SHU setting of one kind or another. Which will make time drag. No hanging out in a day room with a bunch of other people, just sitting in a cell 23 hours a day.
      Because SHU is expensive the prison will want him in GP if possible but we do owe inmates the best safety and frankly to protect other other inmates from getting riled up over him, which puts the whole cellblock he is in in danger.
      Those who want him punished get their wish, in a way. It’s going to be a long, long ride for him.
