      Hi Shireen, Samantha.....I know as a guy, i shouldn't be watching this type of video, but i somehow knew there would be sad girls watching this video....lol. Just remember Allah is more understanding than you can imagine. What matters to Allah most is the INTENTIONS. Your getting depressed itself is the fact that you intentions are true. So take is easy on yourself. Islam has given a way for everything. Make it up after ramadan. But beware of that stupid Shaytan (Lanatullah alayhi) who will be out after Ramadan. He will stop you from keeping it.

I feel so bad for struggling to accept this command at times. Astagfirullah. But your video helps me understand, and makes me realize what else I can do during this time of the month. I love this video! I don't understand all the comments of girls saying they are so sad they have their period during this time... its going to happen at some point during Ramadan so why not just accept it? It is such a blessing that you are exempt from fasting during this time, what a smart thing to know you need the extra nutrients. Maybe it is because they feel apart from their families? I'm not a Muslim but I am learning everyday.

    I've never understood the idea of pretending to fast and pray when you are on ur period. There was an Instagram post when a girl said something along the lines of "I dont get why we have to hide the fact that we're on our period as if it isn't already painful enough" Someone said in the comments "dont u have respect for ur dad and brothers" I asked why they hid it and they all attacked me lol they said I was nasty and a disgrace and whatnot. I didn't even know what to think. Ps I love ur vids❤❤

    • @naomis2308
      @naomis2308 4 года назад +20

      I've noticed that too. It's actually really annoying. Many Muslim girls (perhaps it's culture) don't talk about their period because it's seen as "disgraceful." I'm reverting (not fasting this year though), and I find that quite shocking. I don't understand why they have to "hide" it to make the men feel comfortable (just imagine me rolling my eyes right now lol). If I do have kids, I'll teach them to respect when someone is on their period and not to look down on that person because of it. It's natural and normal, and God just made us women like that.

    • @Amelia-ys2qy
      @Amelia-ys2qy 4 года назад +13

      @@naomis2308 it's definitely cultural. however it varies from from one family to another. I never wake up in sehri if i'm not fasting and it's never an issue. however i do have iftar with my family since it's sunnah! and it is comig from someone in Pakistan!

    • @azmiboonmalert3724
      @azmiboonmalert3724 4 года назад +4

      i think this is quite cultural. I'm a Muslim from Bangkok, Thailand, and it's ok to tell people that you are during your period which is why they cannot fast or pray.

    • @zay406
      @zay406 4 года назад +3

      @@naomis2308 yh it's kinda weird. The comments kept on saying things like "Omg dont u have respect for ur brothers and father, think about how they feel!" Honestly Idk cuz like, what r u supposed to feel it's just a natural phase like.... And also do their dads and brothers just expect for their daughter to never have their period lololl

    I've been binge watching all your videos. I actually used to watch you a long time ago but I stopped because back then I wasn't really in the right space mentally to watch Islamic content. But I'm way stronger in my iman now. And more certain.
    In terms of reciting Quran each person should clarify with their madhab. Its different for each madhab. Because I know hanafi madhab you can't. I am not part of any madhab but many of my friends are so its important to learn about your madhab.

    Alsalamu Alakuim. I never fast during Ramadan because my parents refuse to let me eat after Fajj they say too early over a man made religion. So I read Quran and pray everyday though and donate to charity. I am anemic and I get too dizzy when I try to fast. My best friend does not fast because he has diabetes and doctor said not too because he could die.

    The most annoying thing is that when you get your period during Ramadan and everybody is asking you why you’re not fasting at this moment I feel like AHHHHHH.

    • @xoxalyne8815
      @xoxalyne8815 3 года назад +1

      There is no shame in our religion, trust me as someone who was hiding when eating and being really ashamed, as the time passed, it kept getting worst. I suggest just straight up telling them you’re on your period ! That is the best way. I used to hide (because my mother and my sisters did) from the males of the family and eat in secrecy but it made it so hard to eat and to enjoy that time of the month freely, a couple years ago i decided enough was enough and I just started telling them im on my period and I would prepare my food and eat it discreetly but not hiding, there was teasing at the beginning and then they stopped asking 😂 they need to grow up and get used to women’s cycles 🤷‍♀️ my mom was horrifiiiied at the beginning but she let it go when she saw that all the perks that came with it 😂

    The only thing that stresses me (more in ramadan than normal days ,now that i'm thinking about it ) is knowing when it does really end .It's seriously stresses me out , with that brown disposal , the thing is i don't recall how many hours i stopped seeing stuff and when i started seeing this.It's not the first time .I'm super worried about if my fasting and my prayers as well in general not being accepted it makes me cry i swear and i don't know what to do about those past stuff.I made a deal with myself that i won't start praying nor fasting until 24h no matter how i feel about it .I'm tired of feeling these regrets it's making me cry . Better safe than sorry
