When I reverted to islam and realised u are not allowed to pluck them I decided to grow them out, such a long process 😩 but alhamdulliallah I have my old brows back and I really don’t know what I was thinking by plucking them in the first place. I love them now. Top tip(worked for me) : Use the edges of ur hijab to hide the ends as when growing them out it’s mostly the ends that look so bizarre . May Allah swt bless all who read this Ameen 🙏

Hey! hope youre doing great on your journey. Ive always known they were haram, but i use to kinda do them very lightly in high school coz my brows were soooo thick and bad. But when i grew into my adult face in ramadan 5 years ago i made a vow not to do them again. when i saw them fully grown out on my face they looked fine! i think when were younger it just looks 10x bushy coz our faces are small and we begin to be afraid of how they might look. But its not so bad now. I always fill them in and carve with concelealer and everyone thinks i pluck them but i dont :P

You can do it! If you leave something for Allah’s sake, Allah will give you even better than that which you left. It’s a win-win situation since Allah does not forbid something except that there is a benefit, even if we don’t see it.

Your brows grew back well! I have been growing mine out for about 7 years now and they just aren't growing. I had dark, thick brows before I went crazy with the tweezers in my teens, twenties. I wish I had never started plucking them. Full brows are so beautiful!
I stopped at the exactly same time as you. I just couldn't do it anymore because I was afraid of the curse of Allah swt and our prophet saw. The way was kinda difficult because of my family. Everyone wanted to force me to remove them or saying that I shouldn't take religion so extreme. But I ignored them I don't touch them and yeah I am whiter than a wall but have really big and black eyebrows on a little face. People(mainly muslims) always tell me to at least clean it around and don't understand that I gave it up for Allah swt, so I don't mind that people find me ugly. It was a process to get used how people treat u if you look in a different way. But Alhamdulillah I stick to it even on my wedding day! On that day everyone told me to pluck them but I just responded; " what if I die on that day? Who of you can give me the guarantee that I will have time to repent on something I know that it is haram. And i disobey my Lord because of what people expect for me to be beautiful

I’ll be honest….I struggle with this. I don’t do anything at all to my eyebrows for a year…. and then I have a moment of weakness and I tidy them up the way I want to and then let them grow again for another year. It’s a vicious cycle….. but I’m working on it.
it's not always about "fashion" and "beauty standards" my brows are smthg I have never seen in my 20 years of life, ya'll don't understand the struggle if I stayed that way I would never have been able to even interact with people, ya'll make it sound like it's easy, maybe for you people commenting who have "normal" eyebrows that might not even need any plucking, this is not possible if you have bushy eyebrows which join tgt, on top of that it shows similarity to Males which is also not allowed

these days its very trendy to have thick un neat eyebrows. my niece is a teenager she doesnt touch her eyebrows and no one has ever said to her why don't you do it? she looks good, in vogue.

One thing I don't like about them is that some hair are sticking out when I look at them from the side. I don't know what to do about it, so I just cut them shorter instead of just plucking them. I'm not sure if that is ok or not. May Allah forgive us and make it easier for everyone.

basically i have light brown hair but not very light and I am hairy but my eyebrows are not thick and full ,so every night i put castor oil on them and right now I don't know if its changing but InshAllah i will see some change

If you want to know how to apply I would suggest you to watch some videos, there are a lot on RUclips since I wouldn't know how to explain it :') Castor oil is found in the pharmacy

The Prophet (s.a.w) has cursed the woman who plucks her eyebrows for beauty reasons (she can in case of any disease) this is because it changes your appearance and also there is research that plucking the eyebrows or nearby area affects your brain and ultimately memory loss occurs. This ruling doesn't go for legs or other areas as this is considered to be personal hygiene also, hairs that make you resemble the other gender it's obligatory to remove them.(upper lips , arms etc)

Ibn Mas'ud (May Allah be pleased with him) said: Allah has cursed those women who practise tattooing and those women who have themselves tattooed, and those women who get their hair removed from their eyebrows and faces (except the beard and the mustache), and those who make artificial spaces between their teeth for beauty, whereby they change Allah's creation. A woman started to argue with him, saying: "What is all this?" He replied: "Why should I not curse those whom the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) cursed and who are cursed in Allah's Book? Allah, the Exalted, has said in His Book: "And whatsoever the Messenger (Muhammad (ﷺ)) gives you, take it; and whatsoever he forbids you, abstain (from it)." (59:7)
Hi Sam, can you please answer if you use lip tint or liner? If not you have really pretty lips mashallah! And this color hijab looks beautiful on you and the texture is so pretty. Xo Edit: also if you make a video about hair removal maybe you can mention that some women use epilators instead of razors. They're pretty cheap and I've gotten used to the pain. They're nice because eventually the hair grows back more sparse and when I was shaving my face I started to get bumps and my hair did appear darker growing in and since it grows in blunt tipped it's more obvious especially against light skin.
I can't tolerate pain even if i get a cut i start panicing and crying and it take quite a long time to heal compare to my parents and my bro so plucking is a no no for me and i never will do it. Can i use the facial razer to remove my unibrow?
Start by accepting the way you look, God created your thick eye brows so appreciate it. Dont feel bad, it's not your fault that you have bushy eyebrows. Plenty of people have it.
I find bleaching the excess hair of your brows really helpful during the growing process but u need to do it every 1-2 weeks and also eyebrow make up or tint to fill out the gaps that firm and look weird lol

This is due to plucking as I mentioned in the video! It will go away eventually after you start consistently brushing your brows down
@@SamanthaJBoyle Thanks for the reply. In my case it unfortunately isn't due to plucking, since it's hair I never pluck. And I've been brushing and using gel for years now. I guess I can't do much about it then.

basically i have light brown hair but not very light and I am hairy but my eyebrows are not thick and full ,so every night i put castor oil on them and right now I don't know if its changing but InshAllah i will see some change
MashaAllah Allah has blessed you with a pair of thick brows just the way I ♥️ it. Thick dark brows make the face youthful too. I apply aloe vera gel to smoothen mine and notice that my brows are somehow growing 😛 Also Sam, would appreciate it if you have any beauty tips on how to moisturize the eyelashes or grow them to be thicker and longer. +Belle Naztassia Salam sister, if you want to get fuller brows and longer lashes use castor oil every night before going to bed and you will notice a big difference. If you want to know how to apply I would suggest you to watch some videos, there are a lot on RUclips since I wouldn't know how to explain it :') Castor oil is found in the pharmacy

Very right there.... If you know about "why" u r doing this... It becomes very easy... Alhamdolillah never shaved, threaded, waxed my eyebrows... Not even on my wedding day... Alhamdolillah with the taufeeq of Allah❤️
if I didn't get bullied by my friends and family about how "Manish" my eyebrows looked, it would be easier not to pluck them. but it seems like I won't stop anytime soon because I can't even stand looking at my old pictures without them plucked

i've read fatwas on the internet saying the hair between the eyebrows is not part of it so it's permissible to pluck it or shave it.....and i used to do it but now thinking back, i'm not sure abt it. can someone shed some light on that issue?

So many scholars have different opinions about shaving the hair that’s on the legs and most of them said it permissible and okay
But for the eyebrows you can’t pluck the hair because your basically changing your appearance but I’m im sure you can read about this topic on any Islamic page I don’t have too much knowledge to answer your question :)

The Prophet (s.a.w) has cursed the woman who plucks her eyebrows for beauty reasons (she can in case of any disease) this is because it changes your appearance and also there is research that plucking the eyebrows or nearby area affects your brain and ultimately memory loss occurs. This ruling doesn't go for legs or other areas as this is considered to be personal hygiene also, hairs that make you resemble the other gender it's obligatory to remove them.(upper lips , arms etc)

Allah has cursed those women who practise tattooing and those women who have themselves tattooed, and those women who get their hair removed from their eyebrows and faces (except the beard and the mustache), and those who make artificial spaces between their teeth for beauty, whereby they change Allah's creation. A woman started to argue with him, saying: "What is all this?" He replied: "Why should I not curse those whom the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) cursed and who are cursed in Allah's Book? Allah, the Exalted, has said in His Book:
"And whatsoever the Messenger (Muhammad (ﷺ)) gives you, take it; and whatsoever he forbids you, abstain (from it)." (59:7)

You can bleach them by the way if you’d like to. That’s permissible because you aren’t removing any hair.

Edit: also if you make a video about hair removal maybe you can mention that some women use epilators instead of razors. They're pretty cheap and I've gotten used to the pain. They're nice because eventually the hair grows back more sparse and when I was shaving my face I started to get bumps and my hair did appear darker growing in and since it grows in blunt tipped it's more obvious especially against light skin.

Water would wash off the brow gel because it doesn’t need an oil based remover :) so it should wash off when you make wudu any way

Start by accepting the way you look, God created your thick eye brows so appreciate it. Dont feel bad, it's not your fault that you have bushy eyebrows. Plenty of people have it.

I find bleaching the excess hair of your brows really helpful during the growing process but u need to do it every 1-2 weeks and also eyebrow make up or tint to fill out the gaps that firm and look weird lol

الحمد لله
📗جاء في فتاوى الشيخ محمد بن صالح العثيمين ما يلي :
🔸نتف حواجب المرأة لا يجوز ، وهو من النمص الذي لعن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم فاعله ،
*فالنامصة* هي التي تفعله بغيرها ،
*والمتنمّصة* هي التي تطلبه من غيرها ، وكذلك إذا فعلته بنفسها ، وهذا حرام ولا يجوز .
🔸 والله له الحكمة فيما يقدره لعباده فمن الناس من يكون جميل الشكل ، ومنهم من هو سوى ذلك ، والأمر كلّه بيد الله عز وجل والواجب على المرء أن يصبر ويحتسب الأجر من الله عز وجل ولا ينتهك محارمه من أجل شهواته .
⛔ والذي أرى أنها لا تأخذ منه شيئاً مطلقاً ، اللهم إلا إذا كان هناك شيء من الشعر خارجاً عن نطاق الحواجب ، مثل أن يكون فيها شامة يكون عليها شعر ، فيمكنها أن تزيله لأنه في هذه الحال إزالة عيب مشوه ، وليس تحصيل جمال . والله أعلم .
