Just wanted to make it clear that I’m not necessarily recommending the AUTHORS of these books. I’m not sure what all of their aqeedah looks like and have not researched them. I am merely recommending these particular books because I enjoyed them. A few people have messaged me saying the character of a few authors of these books are questionable (like the author of Enjoy your life or Purification of the Heart), but I just wanted to make it public that I am not speaking about how good the authors are but purely the books! The only authors that I specifically recommended in this video is Brother Imam Ibn Kathir and Muhammad Al Jilbaly. JazakAllahuKhayran everyone.
Salaam Alaikum. I'm not a Muslim, but I've done a bit of research into Islam and other religious traditions. I respect your choice to follow your religion, but I'm not so sure it's a good idea to recommend Imam Ibn Kathir. I was shocked and saddened by the hate speech in his Tafsir. To quote his commentary on Quran 9.29-30, "Therefore, Muslims are not allowed to honor the people of Dhimmah or elevate them above Muslims, for they are miserable, disgraced and humiliated. [Sahih] Muslim recorded from Abu Hurayrah that the Prophet said, 'Do not initiate the Salam to the Jews and Christians, and if you meet any of them in a road, force them to its narrowest alley.' This is why the Leader of the faithful `Umar bin Al-Khattab, may Allah be pleased with him, demanded his well-known conditions be met by the Christians, these conditions that ensured their continued humiliation, degradation and disgrace....... Fighting the Jews and Christians is legislated because They are Idolators and Disbelievers: Allah the Exalted encourages the believers to fight the polytheists, disbelieving Jews and Christians, who uttered this terrible statement and utter lies against Allah, the Exalted. As for the Jews, they claimed that `Uzayr [Ezra] was the son of God, Allah is free of what they attribute to Him. As for the misguidance of Christians over `Isa, it is obvious. This is why Allah declared both groups to be liars." I really don't think that any author who writes this kind of hate speech should be recommended or listened to at all. It just fuels extremism. Imagine someone who speaks about Muslims the way he does about Jews and Christians. Even if the other things he wrote are good, this level of hatred brings his aqeedah into question.

my mother tongue is arabic and I find Quran translation by Yusuf Ali so special it echoes the original in a way I can't explain, maybe he's done it with a pure heart and what comes from the heart it reaches the hearts

you don't need to worry for your relatives who died without Islam, if they didn't get the message of Islam undistorted and complete then no worries, God has a different plan for this type of people in the day of judgement.
I am watching your video and enjoying actually! I just want to say that it might be a bit confusing for non Muslims watching your video while you say I have two Qurans. Because Quran is only one. As Muslims we have only one Quran unlike all other religions, but there are different translations and tafseers ..etc depending on the way the translator translates the Only One Arabic Quran. ( so the names written are not the authors of the Quran ; the author is Almighty God, but the written names on the Mushaf you have are for the translators or tafseers scholars).
There are actually at least 26 Qurans, Quran is not perfect without errors as the standard narrative say. Islam is over protective on their religion, we can actually be open and view from various Islamic scholars, CIRA International is one of them.

As my view and opinion , the Holy Quran is beyond recommendation because it is obligatory for islamic faith... One of my best islamic books is CALCULAS , it explains the least much of knowledge of how the creator has created this universe and how to understand things in human common language and gives some rules and formulas to make life running as expected planning.... Please don't misunderstand me !.... Thanks to think twice.

Good work Mashallah but the only thing you should have kept in mind is that 'these are not various Qur'ans" these are only various translations/tafseer of Quran. The Quran was and always be 1. These should be referred to as mere translations. Jazakallahu khairan
I may advise you to read books of Said Nursi (Risale-i Nur) and Muhammed Fethullah Gulen. I believe you will like them and will understand how important those books in this century.
There are books in french on their website ! It is great. I would love To have "stories of thé prophets "!! But I cant find it on this website but you can get it in French on amazon for 19euros. My husband read the "sealed nectar" (le nectar cacheté). He loves it and recommends it also. One more book that I want to recommend that I love is Islamic history by Firas al khateeb its a short book and more of a summary of Islamic history after the prophet and the four Khalifas, but it a great start for anyone who want to know the impact Islam had on Muslims and the world throughout history.

I recommend the Way to the Quran and Riyadus Saliheen which is a book of hadith if you dont want to read all the hadiths

I listened to the lecture "Purification of the heart" by Shaikh Hamza Yusuf on RUclips and it's really calming and good but I haven't read this book!

I can’t find “The stories of the prophets” I really want to read it. But the website doesn’t have it ☹️
As my view and opinion , the Holy Quran is beyond recommendation because it is obligatory for islamic faith... One of my best islamic books is CALCULAS , it explains the least much of knowledge of how the creator has created this universe and how to understand things in human common language and gives some rules and formulas to make life running as expected planning.... Please don't misunderstand me !.... Thanks to think twice.

Good work Mashallah but the only thing you should have kept in mind is that 'these are not various Qur'ans" these are only various translations/tafseer of Quran. The Quran was and always be 1. These should be referred to as mere translations.

I may advise you to read books of Said Nursi (Risale-i Nur) and Muhammed Fethullah Gulen. I believe you will like them and will understand how important those books in this century.
There are books in french on their website ! It is great. I would love To have "stories of thé prophets "!! But I cant find it on this website but you can get it in French on amazon for 19euros. My husband read the "sealed nectar" (le nectar cacheté). He loves it and recommends it also. I recommend reading "Allah: Praises of Allah, Signs of Allah and Names of Allah Mentioned in the Quran" Paperback. It is a great index book to learn more about Allah SWT
I think 'The Message of the Qur'an' by Muhammad Asad can be a good addition to the list.

One more book that I want to recommend that I love is Islamic history by Firas al khateeb its a short book and more of a summary of Islamic history after the prophet and the four Khalifas, but it a great start for anyone who want to know the impact Islam had on Muslims and the world throughout history.
