- Deep Rock Galactic - Elite Deep Dive Weekly Reset 04.07.2024. Codename: Outrageous Reserve. Modded to Hazard 6 x2 Enemies Difficulty; 60 Nitra per resupply. Joining a friend’s private lobby; playing as Engineer, friends are playing as Gunner, Driller, and Scout. Elite Deep Dive this week is set to Radioactive Exclusion Zone. Stage 1: Collect 250 Morkite and Scan 2 Resonance Crystals; and has Rival Presence modifier. Stage 2: Collect 6 Alien Eggs and Refine Liquid Morkite; and has Ebonite Outbreak modifiers. Stage 3: Hunt 2 Dreadnoughts and Repair 2 Mini Mules; and has Mactera Plague modifier. Thanks to Flymagpie, @JoanLamrack and @MoonLightOri for joining the run.

Why VIR and not feedback loop?
They seem to accomplish the same things, what made you choose that overclock?
Feedback loop is good but you'd only really benefit from it when there's enough bugs clustered. You also have to spend more ammo by shooting longer if you want to maximize its upsides and that ammo penalty ain't helping either, though you could use T5B to receive a bit of ammo back but that also requires a cluster of bugs to reap the benefits the most. You also have to consider the movement penalty while shooting.
On the other hand, VIR is does not require any set ups and you have its benefits all the time. It's a pocket flamethrower with infinite range that leaves sticky flame on the ground that can easily spread fire to bugs with minimal ammo usage, and movement is not hindered at all since you are not required to shoot continuously. And the best part is that you can draw on the any terrain, making Hoxxes your canvas.
