The FunWhole set looks really good, the LED integration seems excellent too. Unless the wired used in the USB port are not standard it should work with a normal 5v power adapter.
@pastajensen I really liked the Funwhole set other than the minifigures. The Funwhole site says you can use the lights with a normal power adapter but not for long periods of time. The JANGBRICKS video I was thinking of was for a JMBricklayer set. He burned out one of the lights on it by using a power adapter instead of the battery box.
I'd take the Funwhole set over the Lego sets. Way cheaper, includes lights, and looks great. I've built some of their others sets, and they're really high quality. Makes you wonder why you should pay double for a Lego set that offers less.

I did collect the winter village sets earlier, but stopped some years back, but the Alpine Lodge I just needed to have.
Yes, I can imagine ski lodge sets would be very appropriate for you!

I loved the fun whole one, for us living here in Brazil it's really a better option than a R$5.000 Lego
@@guigaful5095 It's a really good value. I have another one I'm looking forward to building after Christmas.
