I've had 8 boxers in my life. 4 males & 4 females. They are my favorite breed and now at the age of 76 my 3 yr old Susie keeps me active and healthy. They are true companions and are there in good times but more importantly in sad times.
I have to agree 💯 with you. I have had 2 in my life and they brought so much joy into my life. I lost my last girl almost 2 years ago. I miss her so much.
My parents got our first boxer before I was born. She was amazing!! She was so gentle with all 5 of us children. I have had 4 as an adult and each was amazing- especially the one that could jump the 6 ft. privacy fence to play with the neighbors dog when she was trying to wean them, then jump back over when she heard them whine.
Proud Boxer mum of two wiggle butts. Although my girl & boy are very typical; energetic and playful they are very smart & observant... can’t get anything past them. And most of all... very loyal. Absolutely wouldn’t have any other breed
I used to think my Boxer was powerful and had some good, trainable, aggression until I got my Doberman. Boxer is about 5% the power and seriousness of my Doberman. They are gorgeous though, but I had toileting problems with the Boxer, aside from that he was playful, funny, friendly - mostly, and a brilliant friend. Oh also very obedient and trainable. My Doberman is just a psycho basically.
The boxer wiggle is like the most amazing thing to come home to on earth, I never thought they were super protectors till my son was born, and let me tell you that wasn’t my son that was her son and be damned if anyone remotely made him upset 😂 if he cried she would get whiney and upset and paw at my wife or me non stop to make sure we noticed (like the crying didn’t do it 😂) and she would sit and wait till you helped him, did something for him etc, oh and don’t play rough with him she would put a paw in your face immediately lol, till the day she passed her place was on his bed with him. Best dog on earth and we all still miss her very much (RIP Zoe dog! 2008-2022)
Our Remus would put the top of his head on the floor and walk around in a circle while making snorting noises. He knew this cracked us up and loved to perform. He probably got the idea watching the Stooges.
I have a three month old male Boxer named Tanner and he is very hyper and energetic and likes when he sees me and when I come to play with him and feed him.

Best dogs, a fantastic family breed which in turn makes them an excellent guard dog who will give their life for their family. It's instinct and doesn't need training, boxers will love their family and see off any bad people.
I have two boxers, the other day the food company i get my food from rang me to say he left the food in the kitchen, i was asleep, he didn’t want to give me a fright by waking me so when he left but rang me to say i should be more careful leaving the door unlocked. Not only was i asleep but my boxers were asleep on the sofa with me. A stranger comes into my house and the two boxers did not even wake up, so they are definitely not watch dogs.
@@timothyknowlton2927 We don’t crop the ears and it is illegal to doc the tails in my country. Yes my dogs are boxers. For the first five years we also had a Basset Hound and one bark from a Basset is loud and deep. When the Basset Hound died we realised that our Boxers don’t bark, they are family pets, so we had no reason to teach them. Different if they were watch dogs.
I've heard a breeder say these dogs were really bred from Bull Terrier and Bulldogs. I tend to believe that as they would make pretty bad hunting dogs are really just professional goof balls
I just recently found out foxtails are very dangerous for dogs but yet at 1:23 this lovely boxer is casually running in a field full of dangerous foxtails and eating them?!?!?!?!?!!?!?!? Am i missing something here? Are all my boxers safe from foxtails? I'm asking because i'm a proud father of 5 boxers :)
Easily thw most rewarding dog breed to own. They are like having another child. I will never own any other breed. European Boxers are the best lines. American Boxers have more health and behavioral issues due to poor breeding practices.
If you've never had a boxer, you'll never know how amazing they are.
