I definitely took one of Apex Lengend's theme (the video game) and kinda just went from there, playing it all as I faintly remembered by ear. Sadly I don't remember the entire thought process behind it all :( Thanks for stopping by though! :D
@@VinLudens Thanks can you maybe share how you come up with new melodies and/or chord progressions in general? And do you have sheets for this or your other originals?
@@leif1075 this one doesn't have sheets. But you can find all my sheets on github (note the readme is probably outdated): github.com/niveK77pur/VinLudens_Music-Sheets Generally I play out the melodies in my head first, but there's no rules or guidelines that I follow, it's purely by feeling. And then I try to replicate it on the piano. Interesting chords usually stem from me missing a note, and then I start experimenting with the "mistake" to see if anything interesting may come up. However, I barely have any knowledge on the theory behind chord progressions so I can't say if there's any pattern in what I'm doing. Again, most of it is purely by ear and starts with playing stuff out in my head first. This comes from a perspective of someone who is not able to improvise and is lacking even basic knowledge on chord progressions. By playing many pieces, I eventually developed an ear for how things could sound like. Hope there was any insight here for you~
It is not a perfect recording, but there you go! Hope you enjoy :)
Hiw did you come up with this melody andnthe chords or harmonies?? Thanks for sharing.
