As a southern american christian, this was so hard for me to accept. But something about the Islamic faith, lifestyle, and proof has found me wanting and desiring to convert. Just when I try to stop researching I have recieved an even stronger desire to learn more and convert. I wanna live in janna someday with all of my brothers and sisters in God. omg so true. i always note this. atheist and christian commenting against islam. its sad too.
let them compete...we got much better and authentic and verified material...while they donot, they mostly use profanity, hate speech, deception, misinterpreting like they are born as islamic scholars, and worst of all blasphemy is very common now.....if these commenters do this than dont let urself down, it happened to our Prophets and companions and spreaders of Islam as well, it was very harsh but they strived and struggled with success with the support of Allah....same is for us, we have to be very patient and dont be like them....we answer their darkness with light coz the whole world is watching this show and if these commenters keep ignoring they dont know how bad their image is getting coz of their ways of talks and how well the teachings of Islam is spreading coz of the righteous and supported guidance we provide them. they think that they have won by bad mouthing, infact in reality they only won in their own small circle of peculiar and ignorant ppl, and we have won in the eyes of a large amount of ppl watching this and seeing how evident our talks are, and millions of ppl have reverted to Islam!! But we should be very careful and donot compare the religion, coz if u ssay anything bad to their religios figures they will say the same to ours and thats prohibited to do so.

It's wrong on the part of those biblical translators to delibrately use the quranic word "allah" for the Old Testament hebrew word "ELohim" (plural form) found 26 times in Chapter 1 of the Book of Genesis, which has ended up confusing the arabic language readers.
It's interesting to note that Estes claims that there is no plurality in the name "allah".
While the word "ELohim" (plural form) means "mighty, strength and power" but the name allah neither holds to a similar meaning nor does it have one.
Finally, ELohim has a sacred Biblical name called "YHWH" (Yehovah) found more than 6500 times in the Hebrew Bible.
In the quran, allah does not recall having such a name as found in the Bible, the quran in several occasions claims that allah iteslf is a name.

I am speechless.
I have been a muslim all my life but i have recently started learning about Islam and practising.
This video has made my belief firm in Allah and this is how it has.
I have been looking for answers as to why Allah is addressed as "HE" by everyone including Muslim scholars since Allah does not have a gender then why does everyone address him as "HE" "HIM"
And masha allah how Allah got me to this video.
This is even special because I have been going through testing phase in my life and i have been asking Allah for signs that he is listening to me and that what i am asking for will be given to me at the right time and by landing on this and learning about why Allah is addressed as "HE" after all these years looking for this ans.
Masha Allah faith has become even more strong.

But that’s the same reason for literally all other monotheistic religions. God is ascribed a male pronoun because the language makes it so. It’s a gender neutral pronoun when applied to God. This can’t possibly be *the sign* right? This is a pretty bad reason for believing, as that isn’t even unique to Islam
@@asdfghjk8876 Theirs a chance that her reasoning of believing can get her further into Islam and learn more about it considering theirs a lot more to Islam. So you shouldn’t tell her that “it’s a bad reason for believing” and “that isn’t even unique to Islam” she has been a Muslim all her life but her belief wasn’t as strong meaning she most likely hasn’t been practicing the religion of Islam, so it’s pretty discouraging when you say stuff like that to people who want to have a stronger relationship with allah. You should have told her that “He” is a gender neutral pronoun for god and wished that inshallah her knowledge grows more. But everybody makes mistakes.

@@asdfghjk8876 Yea the explanation itself isn't so convincing. It could be a translation formality to translate God to Allah in Arabic. And the linguistic itself of "you are" and "you is" was standardized over time. I rather be pessimistic and learn more rather than accepting this guy as the absolute truth.
Remember also that allah was used before islam even existed

The God of Muslims can NOT and will NEVER at one point be the same God of Christians. They will NEVER EVER meet at any one point. Simple logic.
1. If the God of Muslims believes it's good to have more than one wife which the God of Christians condemns then they can't be the same Gods. If Muslims believe to pray to Allah you have to face a particular direction and yet Christians imply their God is Omnipresent then the two Gods they serve are totally different. I can go on and on and on.
2. Someone in the comments noted you were once a Christian then converted to Islam, why the switch if they're the same Gods? You'd have become a "Christian-Muslim" (if that exists anyway). Oh wait! You must have felt the Government (God of the Bible) under which you were had a lot of loopholes which Islam didn't. See, when one quits one religion for another it simply means even those reigning supreme in those particular religions are different. Simple logic.
So for someone to say the two Gods (Who are totally different) finally appear in the same Book (Bible), it is illogical, hypocritical and a mockery sort of gesture.

but the bible was written in Ancient hebrew/aramaic which are also semitic language like arabic. The name that THE GOD revealed to moses was written as "YHWH" which means I am who I am. This name(YHWH) was considered to be sacred and was not used, instead they used words like Eel, Eli, Adonai, Mara, Mariyah, Allaha for god. This clearly contradicts the claim by the presenter that the word Allah was used for THE GOD(YHWH). On the contary the aramaic word Allaha is a common noun similar to english usage of word "god".

Guess what, the word God in Aramaic is Allah . It's absolutely wrong on the part of those biblical translators to delibrately use the word "allah" for the Old Testament hebrew word "ELohim" (plural form) found 26 times in Chapter 1 of the Book of Genesis, which has ended up confusing the arabic language readers.
It's interesting to not that estes claims that there is no plurality in the name allah.
Secondly, the word ELohim (plural) means "mighty, strength and power" but the name allah neither holds to a similar nor has a meaning to it.
Third, ELohim has a sacred name called "YHWH" (Yehovah) found more than 6500 times in the Bible, in the quran, allah does not recall having such a name, for the quran several times claims that allah iteslf is a name.

اَللّٰهُمَّ اَنْتَ رَبِّيْ ، لَا اِلٰهَ اِلَّا اَنْتَ خَلَقْتَنِيْ وَاَنَا عَبْدُكَ ، وَاَنَا عَلَی عَهْدِكَ وَوَعْدِكَ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُ اَعُوْذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا صَنَعْتُ ، اَبُوْءُ لَكَ بِنِعْمَتِكَ عَلَيَّ ، وَ اَبُوْءُ بِذَنْبِي ، فَاغْفِرْ لِيْ ، فَاِنَّهُ لَا يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوْبَ اِلَّا اَنْتَ.
“Allahuma Anta Rabbi, la ilaha illa Anta, khalaqtani wa ana ‘abduka, wa ana ‘ala ‘ahdika wa wa'dika mastata'tu, a'udhu bika min sharri ma sana'tu, abu'u laka bini'matika ‘alayya, wa abu'u laka bidhanbi faghfir li, fa innahu la yaghfirudh-dhunuba illa Anta.”
(O Allah! You are my Lord. There is no god except You. You have created me, I am Your slave, I hold to Your Covenant as far as I can. I seek refuge in You from the evil of what I have done. I acknowledge the favours that You have bestowed upon me and I confess my sins. Pardon me, for none but You has the power to pardon).
