I am using the original aluminum wall. I drilled out the rivets and will reinstall it with replacement rivets in the original holes which attaches to the frame ribs. Hope this helps!

Nope, no insulation under the floor. Struggled with this one...after reading several guys feedback on the airforums we decided not to.

Had some on hand and it was cheap... Decided against fiberglass as it would absorb and hold any potential leaks. The reflective bubble insulation looks good...not sure what the R-value is but I have seen alot of other folks use it.

Just curious, why foam insulation? Is it better than bubble or fiberglass?

Did you happen to insulate UNDER the floor boards?

What was the technique you used to replace the floor without taking the shell off? Did you have to shore up the shell by an inch or so?
I am in the process of doing this, and curious about any struggles or lessons learned. Cheers

I replaced the floor in chunks. I guess it depends how much floor your replacing... For me I did the bathroom and the frond 1/3rd.

@@LightlyLivin What was your technique for measuring and getting the right cut, especially for the curve?
