2K16 I was going to make a comment almost identical to yours until I saw what you'd written. I just watched a show from the 70's and they're all jumpin and movin like they are crazy horses. Now they're standing still at the mics and the tempo is even down.
Merril's voice is still amazing...Of All the Osmonds, He had the greatest voice, And Still does. I was a Donny fan way back when, but as I am older I appreciate Merril's voice so much more.❤
If you watch Jay, he’s still doing his signature moves from the original live shows. He and Merrill were always my favorites, but I miss Alan, Donny and the incredible Wayne. I hope that Jimmy is doing good these days.
Love these guys! My favorite album is still The Plan. I love watching The Plan Medley video on youtube. I've just discovered a slightly slower version of Crazy Horses on youtube..it's cool. I'm so happy that Merrill, Jay and Jimmy are performing together 5+ decades later..Amazing! Keep on rockin..Thank you for sharing!
I think that Alan and Wayne retired. Jimmy took Donny’s place for the keyboard parts and backup guitarists fill in for Alan and Wayne. Unfortunately, Jimmy suffered a stroke and he’s likely not coming back. God bless them all.
I really have no clue anymore, i thought Wayne was still playing the solo, with the longer hair, but he might be someone totally different, and i also thought it was Donny in the front with the keytar, but that's Jimmy according to some, so i'm lost. The only ones i recognize are Jay and Merrill.
@@Games_and_Music Hi DethstruXion. That's Jay singing the verse lead, Merrill in the blue shirt in the middle and Jimmy with the keytar (and me in the green shirt playing bass!). Btw, I'm loving your 'The Day That Should Never Come' track : )
@@sidude8795 Hey Si Dude, thanks for clearing it up, haha! And thanks for listening, never thought i'd get a compliment from the Osmonds bassist on RUclips haha, glad you liked it, mr. Green Shirt. The track is my longest yet and inspired by Metallica - The Day That Never Comes, and Death - Flesh and the Power It Holds, and a bit of the Bolero in the middle section :P Btw, i play the guitar obviously, the drums and bass and other effects are done in Garageband. I've actually wanted to play bass as a kid, before electric guitar, ever since i listened to Golden Earring's Rinus Gerritsen go wild on the intro of the Keeper of the Flame album title track. I've checked out your vids when i saw your comment, i've been late on replying to it, but "Hit Me With Your Rhythm Stick" has been stuck in my head for the last 3 days haha. Never heard of The Blockheads before, but it made me look them up on wikipedia and from there i went into the backstory of Ian Dury, pretty interesting stuff, so thanks for that as well. Are you thinking of doing Crazy Horses on your channel?
Can not get enough of this song. So hard rock and I'm an old 70s rock fan. Rock on Osmonds.
Face it, folks. We had way more fun in the 1970s than anyone is having right now.
Top ten comment in the history of the Internet.
Fun does tend to decline with age!
And with the use of auto-tuned talent-less singers!! (Something no one named Osmond ever needed)

Unfortunately the mind says yes but the body says "hold on a sec..." but still not bad at all
Still selling out Wembley arena after all these years! Incredible!

Same
I’ve developed an obsession with this song the past week that’s beginning to concern me.
I'm right there with you 🤒
I just turned 75 and I can't stop listening to this...but at 75 I'm not concerned about much of anything.
I’ve been obsessed since I rediscovered it on RUclips about ten years ago. I’m 51 and still a huge fan.
From 1972 to 2022. This is still a great song.
Jay and Merrill you still got it...
The Brits love The Osmonds.
it sucks to get old :(
We should all be as lucky as these guys
jay and Merrill you can still rock and I can't wait to see you at Somerset England on the twenty third of august 😍🤗🤗🤗
Their best album.
2019 and this is becoming my new fav!

Go Osmonds. What a good time they still have and why not :)
Still got the moves. Loving it
Merrill is one of the most underrated singers ever. He has a voice made for rock.
3:06 poor guy hurt himself with fire extinguisher
That entire album was pretty much a trend setter. There is nothing to even compare it to.
The old guys can still rock, just more carefully😎

"The Plan" is a classic.
Wonder how Jimmy is these days. The three work well together
I’m from Utah and the osmonds are like this weird royalty for old people. God love ‘em… this is a great song tho.
Vous êtes au top 🎵💕🎵💕
If I remember correctly I think Black Sabbath opened for the Osmonds on the 72 world tour. 🤘
Love it! Kick ass!
I must be wrong but I was sure that one of these tours several years ago was publicised as the "last" one!
It was going to be, but the bypass surgery was successful!
Crazy old-timers!!!
The 70''s version was better, check that out
Well it was nearly 50 years ago
Only 3 Osmonds?? We know where Allan and Donny are, but where's Wayne?
This should pay Utah off!!
Is that Jimmy far right front
Yes, with the 'keytar' 👍
@@foxxwrok Oh, i thought that was Donny, gah, gotta correct my other comment.
Wayne??

@@MasterJediDude Look again, there's a guy playing most of the keyboard parts in back.
Where's Donny?
Isn't he the one with the keytar?
EDIT: nevermind, apparently that is Jimmy.
He was doing his Vegas show, I’m sure.
Where's the Geritol????
Was that a Mormunes only show?
