Hello Angel. I have recently discovered your videos and I love every aspect of them. Informative and excellent presentation. As about the food places .... superb !!!
@@TheTourGuyVids will be in Paris for a few days before heading to Barcelona, Spain. We are all about trying out all the local foods definitely would like to visit any of the restaurants and boulangerie you’ve mentioned. Want to do a boat tour and of course see the Iron Lady. 😃
Nice vid about my favorite nabe in Paris! (Hence my username haha) I may book your services someday when I return for places I’ve missed before. Thanks Angel!
Carnavalet Museum, Victor Hugo home, Place Des Vosges, lots to see! We loved our day in Le Marais. Hot chocolate at Carette in Place des Vosges was a highlight!
Thanks for your coffee updates as well! My wife and I had dinner next to you in Rome a couple months back and we are heading to Paris/London for New Year’s, can’t wait!
I have just one day in Paris on a return trip from Montpellier in May. I’m planning to focus my limited time exploring one neighborhood and it will likely be Le Marais. Your video is a great resource and I’m adding many of your recommended restaurants to my list!
one of my favourite museums is Le Musée de la Chasse et de la Nature à Paris (Museum of Hunting and Nature) in the Marais, Paris is such a magical city and I feel the Parisians are actually rather nice, my favourite hangout is Café La Perle, great people watching.. thank you for informative your video, so many places to check out.
I was just in Paris (Sept 2023) and stayed in Le Marais and loved it. My hotel was just metres from a little square, Place Sainte-Catherine. Great little cafes and restaurants. Fabulous. I will say this though, French cafes can't do a decent coffee. Sorry but being Australian, we are spoilt here and we don't do bland coffee. I did find one cafe serving good coffee....and it was run by Kiwis!! BTW...I love Angel's tour videos.
Thanks so so much and completely agree on the coffee. I finally found a decent place but it’s a Japanese coffee shop run by all female French baristas and it’s the only decent place to find a flat white
I visited Paris the first week of November for first time booked louve tour no one showed up left high and dry. Also I had to fight to get 100 percent of my money back. Tour guy bozos???
@@thomasmerrill3585 I already replied to this same issue on another thread but happily explain again, so everyone else can know, how you missed your tour. The start time of your tour changed two months in advance, which can happen with tickets at the Louvre on rare occasions. Our agents sent multiple texts and emails to notify you of this change. We even followed up to ensure you received it. You also received a new confirmation and automated reminder in 24 hours in advance. On the day and time of your tour, our friendly local welcome staff reached out to you looking for you and we didn't hear back for 4 days. Louvre tickets are strictly timed, and we had to get started to ensure a positive experience for those there. We're happy our agent was able to come to a compromise offer a partial refund, but tickets and space were reserved in your name. If you are ever back in Paris, please reach out to us and we'll be happy to help get you rebooked. We hope you had a great time in Paris during your recent trip!
@@TheTourGuyVids We did 7 stops and had croissants and pain au chocolat at Poilane, macarons and chocolate at Jean Paul Hevin, cheese and wine, onion soup, Sacha Finkelsztajn for a small pastry and cookie, small pâtisserie for a nest like treat. It was a wonderful selection and our guide was wonderful. Also, Les Marché de Enfants Rouge for mint tea and a small wrap.
yes....just walked around and stopped by a dance studio I used to go to ///so I will go back there to take class when I return next year@@TheTourGuyVids
I really enjoyed the video but one little note, Saint Marcellin is absolutely not like camembert and it is certainly not from Burgundy but from... Saint Marcellin, a small town in the Romans region ( department de l Isere ) near Grenoble. It can be served at different stage of affinage going from very creamy to very solid. Keep it up with the great content!
Headed to Paris next May, seriously counting down the days (169 to go 😅) Looking forward to checking out The Marais... honestly seems like you could spend weeks in the area and still not see everything! Thanks for another informative video Angel. 👍
In this part of the video I find that France in general is very expensive and I disagree with that other place who said that the French people are very rude they are nice and respectful but I avoid FRENCH restaurants and bakeries and I have my own favorite places to spend my money. And I find that the French people are very curious about Americans in general because there are so many different people especially NYC with so many different places to see, eat, and enjoy the city from WALL STREET TO CENTRAL PARK to the upper East and west side of MANHATTAN TO CHINATOWN it's almost like a maze.and don't get lost even on the subway France is small city to the UNITED STATES
Le saint Marcelin c’est fait à partir du lait de chèvre (goat ) dans les pays de la Loire (all the renaissance Castel), le camembert c’est du lait de vache (cow) en Normandie , ça n’a rien à voir, très différent !
I went to the ice cream shop to buy ice cream . I ask for a large one. The cashier said not only small size. Also, I took a tour , and the tour women were critical of large size American. She didn't know if I spoke French .
i love your videos!! one of the best out here. i like the layout, the dialqoue, the visuals.

Just got back from Paris and did a food tour in the Marais. Really enjoyed the area. Saw a few of the places mentioned here but wish I had seen more.
Oh wow. What did you eat on the food tour?

Excellent...Do you know Jay Swanson's channel?
Nope
@@TheTourGuyVids He reviews Paris but you are better in my view.So glad I found your channel.
As a French person, I have got to tell you to never spread foie gras, it's a major faux pas ! It's not pâté ; )
Thanks for sharing. We are still learning.

I’ll take me some bed bugs for some Paris
I've never had any in 20 years of travel to Paris. But in hear it's a thing.
6:44 price up before 6 euro you some old video war with Mi-va-mi
The guide said, survived the French revolution. What is he talking about lol
Where? What's the time stamp?
It's not 'Moray', please pronounce it correctly. But you're lovely.
👮🚓
Tell us Americans how to pronounce it correctly instead

Bummer
I visited Paris and I found the French are was rude. Special in the store.
Why? What happened?
She probably didn’t say bonjour. 😂
@@DavidRamos-sr8cx hahah 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽🤣😂
Le Marais est un quartier juif, oui, mais aussi gay !
Ooooof put this guy on radio or voiceover work only
Ok so we are supposed to believe a guy with 2 subscribers and doesn’t show his face of his profile pic. 🤣😂
@@TheTourGuyVids oooof what are you anyhow - a Brazilian ginger? You look like Ronaldinho + Boris Diaw
Omg the pronunciation of “Marais” screams no credibility 🤦🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️
The pronunciation police and the credibility judge has arrived. 🚔
Bed bugs 😂
Did you get them in an Airbnb or Hotel?
The pretentiousness of these people, you kidding me?
If living a good life and enjoying travel & culture is pretentious: GUILTY 😂🤣
