@@TonyTheTruckGuyim getting me another 2014 next week. Can I run this system without any cats? And If I were to, do you think it would be too bad of drone? thanks for any feedback! PPV owner and loved your guy’s video.
hey, ive been looking for exhaust setups. Solo performance is definitely the way to go. On a scale of 1-10 how bearable was the volume. I want my car to be loud but at the same time not ear piercing lmk. Also did the 2.5in exhaust meet up nice with the oem headers or did you have to do custom welds or something else?
They have several available configurations. This one has the factory connect system with the x pipe and no mufflers, just J pipes as shown in the video. It is definitely aggressive when you romp on it, but it's not too harsh for cruising. But that will also depend on gear ratio and tire height. He also still has stock manifolds and cats. I'm selling him my old long tubes soon and it's going to get louder. He still hasn't added a cam lol.
@@TonyTheTruckGuy lol yeah that thing needs to start choppin. So he has the street-race solo performance axle back exhaust that connects to the factor headers, this exhaust system? So all you guys did was take out everything from the oem headers back and replaced it with the solo full street-race exhaust? thanks for the response even thought this video is old!!
@@slapz4949 Yeah supposedly the exact kit shown at the 0:23 mark. Like I said it's bearable now, but if you have LT's and a cam or boost, it's going to be fairly loud for a daily.
@@TonyTheTruckGuy Indeed, thank you so much for your assistance. Mine is going to be a daily so i want it to be driveable but at the same time i want it to be loud. I plan in the future to upgrade the cam and etc. but that wont be until a lot later on down the line
This video is the perfect exhaust video, exactly what I’m looking for, thanks!
Thanks! Yeah there’s not too many videos on these. Glad it helped out 😃
Definitely getting this system for my caprice!
It’s a good sounding system. If you think it might be too loud you can always get the muffler version.
@TonyTheTruckGuy did this cat-back delete the cats or were you able to keep the stock cats on in case for emissions purposes
@@warfreedom217 Stock manifolds and cats still in place! Most if not all "cat back" systems will retain the stock cats.

Does this cat back system attach to the first 2 cats? And removes the second 2 cats?
@@SipCarSpotz Correct
@@TonyTheTruckGuy ok perfect, do you think I would have any problems finding a shop to put the cat back system on?
@ It’s a pretty straight forward kit, I don’t see why it would be hard to find someone to install
@ isn’t taking cats off illegal? I’m hoping that doesn’t cause me any trouble
@ Depends where you’re at, I suppose. California may require 4 cats as where places like Florida don’t care if you have any lol
Does it smell at all since u removed 2 cats?
@@SipCarSpotz Not at all compared to my catless and cammed G8
Reved up on my neighbors Charger now he threw mufflers on.
Guess I'm getting this now. 🤷♂️
Lmao! I like that haha. They do make this same kit but with a muffler if you decide you don't want it quite as loud.
@@TonyTheTruckGuy looking at the mach shorty set up now 😆
I got a cranky old man neighbor too but this isn't a daily so maybe I'll get the same as you
@@tuculoguey3530 LOL! Yeah honestly this setup still makes a good bit of noise unless it's fully warmed up and just idling.
Hell yeah 👍😁
