For those of us who will be at the brentford game this Saturday, let’s chant for Brennan - let’s show him the support he needs in order to gain his confidence back. Thats what you do as a fan - you support all players who wear the shirt, you get behind them. I for one have always been a Brennan fan - he’s got way more in him than we’ve seen. disgusting to think there are ppl out there who call themselves spurs fans and are hurling abuse at our players. No one performs better when they feel worse

I am more put away by fans and this youtube pundits than the players to be honest. we played good football in three games and lost points, and play one bad game and win. And you still have people hitting the team. Sometimes in games you need luck like Newcastle, play four games badly bad still. I remember under Nunes we played three games badly but won al three games and fans still hit the team. Potch team was win games but it was never in control of most of their matches, that is why their won zero. This team in the past four matches controlled matches. Arsenal was forced on the backfoot, it looked clever because their sneaked a goal but they were pushed back. A thing previous tottenham team never achieved (atleast in my fanhood). I am watching Arsenal now vs Atalanta and are dominating the game. please give the team break.

How many times over the years have inferior opponents done a smash n grab on us? So was nice to see us doing a smash n grab on someone else for a change. But no question we were shocking last nite and that Ange got his selection badly wrong (he didnt seem to learn from fulham last year). But more worrying in my view is that our poor form from the end of last season seems to have carried on into this season and we wont get as lucky again this season as we did last nite

on has to play as a centre forward throughout the match and Solanke has to be thrown to the right wing, and they should only switch, meaning Solanke should go as a centre forward in the corners or free kicks, because he is better than Son in the aerial game. That's how both of them can play; because what Ange does by throwing Son to the wing is a waste.

Absolutely agree with Sim. When we see underdogs beat better teams with more quality we often highlight their structure and the system. Watching that game you realise our system was being easily figured out and a system to counter what we try to do by far lesser players was easily implemented. What won us the game yesterday was our better players coming on and winning us the game. For me as well this is a tremendous worry as throughout a long premier league season with injuries, resting and rotating players the system and how we play needs to carry us through in alot of games. At present the way we play i dont think we are getting the best out of maddison, son porro udogie solankie bentancour

I now think that Ange's tactics aren't up to snuff. Sonny, an outstanding player by most people's standards, has been forgettable at the start of the season and that shouldn't be. Everyone sees that he is not a winger. I can't remember the last time he crossed from the byline, as most times he gets pinned in the corner and has to pass off to Madison or another player. He is an inside forward and it frustrates me to no end that Ange doesn't tweak his tactics to play to Son's strengths. Also, it appears that we have no transition game. We have to be fast on the attack to beat our opponents to their box. Right now our attack is so slow that our opponents frequently get the opportunity to stack behind the ball and stuff us. Ange's tactics this season are secretly more pragmatic than Mourinho's, Nuno's or Conte's. We don't play an attacking, control possession game - we don't score! Instead, we fecklessly pass the ball around and control possession, but that possession is functioning as a form of defense rather than an offense. I realize that our tactics are meant to be offensive, but meant to be isn't being. If Ange insists, which he does, to keep playing wingers to provide width (not effective so far) move Son into the middle. Imagine switching off Madison, Son and Kulu in the middle. I think it would work.

Unfortunately for Ange, he must now realise Forster, Davies and Werner are not adequate cover for these types of games. We should go easier on the likes of Gray, Bergval (who was actually our best player) and Odebert as they are young and new to the team. Dragusin, whilst poor, has shown some good things since being here. Put him next to a Van Der Ven or Romero he will be fine

Has Son ever played on the right? Could he be tried on the right, switching with Solanke at times, allowing Odobert to play on the left (if injury not too bad). Johnson could sub on for Son or Solanke (moving Son central). It seems to me Son needs a change, Odobert looked way better on the left, Johnson could do with a period as a 60 min sub. I’ve never seen Son or Solanke out wide right though, so 🤷‍♂️

Ange doesn't do defence and he doesn't do tactics. He just does system then its up to the players to get the result.
Ange is just passing the responsibility to the players. The players have no fall back position should our opposition get in the ascendancy.
Unfortunately the whole set up is shoving our players under the bus Ange has to go so the players can play with some substance and get some belief back, Not just stand there with his hands in his pockets like a headmaster COYS.
