    Agree that kulu seems to be the only one consistently meeting the moment in these matches. Bergvall wants to win. Get Moore in there asap, I saw that drive in him.

      @@talltrini10 Arteta is a first time manager, Ange has over 20 years experience on him.
      Ange inherited a far BETTER squad than Arteta and was not heavily backed at the start, his first signings included Willian, David Luiz and Pablo Mari.
      Ange has been given MORE money in his first two years than Arteta got.
      Arteta had to weed out the bad element BEFORE cleansing the squad e.g. Aubameyang, Õzil, Mustafi... Spurs had no 'problem players' with attitude to lose...perhaps Ndombele?
      I could go on. This comparison needs to stop, it's too easy to keep saying this.
      If Spurs want to rebuild, do it, stop using Arsenal as your example, set your own path!!!

    Werner was bad. But I just want to challenge Ali's call about 10 men being as effective. I think Werner demands more respect from opposition than Mikey would. Rightly or wrongly. I guess I'm offering a defense for Ange's choice.

    Hi Alistair enjoyed your podcast again, but the media are unfair on our defence to me it's not totally the defence because if the attackers were doing their job and scoring goals it would take pressure off the defence and I still feel that goal for Arsole still a push and I do wonder if it would have stood if had been Spurs that had scored it and Timber should have been sent off for the tackle on Porro, I know it wasn't ment but he wasn't in control his foot went over the ball onto Porros ankle, I think I can remember Sonny or some Spurs player being sent off for a similar tackle perhaps you have a better memory than me

    I'll never understand why Ali keeps defending how some players need "minutes in their legs" or "sharpness" as though they aren't training 5 days a week playing 11 aside against one another. Actual matches arent magically different football....it's like saying only actual race day counts when training for a run do all the practice runs not count for some reason?

    • @callmedo
      @callmedo Месяц назад +3

      What? Match minutes and practice minutes are totally different, even if they play 11v11 in training. That's like saying to an athlete competing in the Olympics there is no difference between a practice run and a real one with the medal on the line

    • @ppensen
      @ppensen Месяц назад +1

      @@callmedo that argument works for a final not every a game every week (or 4 days with europe) a formal match.... you run a marathon every day but only the london marathon counts suddenly? Come on

      @ppensen Месяц назад +1

      @@callmedo if you seriously think this then whats the point of training or being a swuad player as you'll be "eternally" not sharp if you arent magically playing on the wekend, training all week but you're still "unfit" somehow....

      Why is Ange influenced by some of his staff members, again I say ,Regalon, and Spenc in that average spurs squad, what does Ange got to loos ,a break for both Odogi and Porro with a truly fantastic midfield ,a fantastic footballer playing right back where as he would and will become one of the Spurs great midfielders off this eara Archi Gray ,midfield his rightfull position

  • @roberto_camp

    Tottenham are severely lacking in quality. We lack power, pace and strength in the team. Timo Werner? Ben Davies? Top-10 finish in the Prem and out of all the cups is a fair prediction, unless another three or four come in in January. Coventry's ENTIRE frontline were better than ours and I'd gladly swap them out.
