😂😂😂 it's called lazy journalism guys, sky isn't gonna actually figure out what's going on at Tottenham, 😌 they don't have the time, so there gonna talk the same shit, as we beat all the teams I the top 10, with out "bad defense and dangerous high line"
Tried a few Tottenham podcasts and chats but this is definitely my favourite. Brilliant hosts. Loved this episode after a couple of decent results for spurs. Let’s hope our injuries aren’t lengthy ones and we move fotwrard. I liked the Solanke praise in this , he is so hard working, great hold up play. Deserved those goals on Sunday
IIRC Ange's comment about short term fixes was referring to buying players to fill a hole. He does not want to buy a player when he sees he already has a younger developing player who is nearly ready to fill that gap. This very different to bringing in a player on loan to fill such a gap. The loan player helps to take the pressure off the developing player in the immediate without making a long term commitment to them. Werner fits this narrative perfectly, hence the decision to extend his loan rather than take up the option to buy him, with the likes of Johnson, Odbert, Moore and potentially Solomon coming through.
The media narrative about Spurs by the media is crazy. Crap at set-pieces, crap defensively, don't score enough goals, no 'plan B', Spursy when they go down a goal, Ange doesn't know what he is doing and Spurs won't finish in the top 6. To be fair, the only guy on Sky that has credited us is Roy Keane. The rest of them refuse to ever praise us. (Especially Alan Smith) I hope it stays like this and they can stay on that side.
it was! Refreshing how honest he was. I was kinda hating on this guy for no good reason, other than he plays for Villa and he gets stuck in. Came away from that interview actually liking the guy.
@@roberto_campalthough he pisses me off playing against him. I’ve always thought this guy was so underrated and smart. He’s actually good with the ball, plays smart passes, helps lead the team, etc. but like hojgberg for us but I’d rate mcginn a bit higher
Great podcast, guys. Great win vs Aston Villa. These wins are why i keep saying, keep faith in Ange! The stats are lining up in his favour.. top scorers and same amount of goals coneded as Arsenal and Man City which no one apart from people who follow the club have acknowledged. With direct free kicks.. the last one i remember us scoring was Kieran Trippier vs Fulham at Wembley in the 2018/2019 season 😳 Eriksen may have got one since but i cant remember.
Guys, Love your shows 👏👏 Nobody should expect, IMO, Vuskovic to be prem ready next season. English loan for me to move on his development. Ash Phillips needs a prem loan next, on the same basis. Improve by competition escalation for both of them 😎
"Undroppable" With the developing squad this way of thinking about a team lineup is becoming redundant. Ange is demonstrating how he is more than willing to leave any player out depending on the the team needs in that next match. About the only player that you could safely use it for is Vicario.
I saw stats were Kane had scored only one goal from a direct free kick in over 65 attempts his greed and crap at taking them is the reason we have not scored that many. Two goals in over 56 set pieces against us yet we are crap at defending them.
Direct free kick goals were never a thing as Kane always insisted on taking them and barely ever scored. Bit of a travesty as if you watch Sonny taking them for South Korea he is mustard!!! I couldn't remember the last one we scored either.
Two goals conceded through 56 set pieces this season but “we’re awful at set pieces” ! 🙄
That doesn't fit the media narrative though! Along with City playing the youngsters!
Don’t forgot the “we got a weak defence” crowd when we’ve conceded the same as city and arsenal

@@richardhand8004 We also "don't put away our chances" but have scored more goals than anyone!
@@richardhand8004don’t forget we only play 1 way 😂😂
From an Aussie, Romero was tight. Sonny was tired. You guys need to employ an Aussie interpreter

welcome back Alisdair!

The calibre of the Media can be seen by some of really silly questions they sometimes ask. The Ange Sympathizer, COYS!!
Welcome back Ali, great to have you back. I'm sure Rob missed you as well, Lee brings very interesting insight but you're the man 👍
Get in !!! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻. Clueless Ange flukes it again 🙄💪🏻💪🏻
Sarcasm I assume
@@sonofCWABSOLUTELY!!! Ive always been fully behind Ange 💪🏻💪🏻

That John McGinn interview was very interesting.

Who's that person with Guest, he looks familiar, maybe I've seen him on hoilday 😂😂🌴🌴🗺✈
Alasdair is back ! 🎉
Thanks Rob! Deki and Sweden! Thanks for good work!
The last free kick in the premier league I remember was Eriksen against Everton on the final day of the 18/19 season - not counting the Kane one.
I enjoy everyone doubting Ange constantly ... it makes better compelations when he eventually wins the trophies.
Enjoyed that rob Guest and Alan Wicker
I’d like to see Sarr in the 6 with Maddison Kulu in front, we’ve got options galore in midfield though. Bergvall Grey… the future is bright!
Is it a bit odd, that there still no decision on Bentacur's FA charge? Or is this a perfectly normal time to take?
Shhh maybe they forgot lol
Hahaha 😂@@AB15151
It can take months. Dele's took like 6 months or something
Happy that Ali is back. Not the same without him.
Getting to this a bit late, but Harry Winks' free kick against Morcombe two years ago
Spurs at the moment only have Pap Sarr as the only Midfield RUNNER.
We can now understand why Ange wanted the exChelsea midfielder.
Yeah I saw Sonny mouth “…effing ess”. I don’t think he entirely agreed with the decision
Tough titty basically he’s no good to us injured
Who's that other guy ? 🤨 😂😂😂 welcome back Ali
as a Australian he said tired.
From an Aussie it was tired lol tip ask an Aussie what Ange says 😂

With our 6/8s and front 3 in super form it’s harder to see how Madders can start - hope he’s happy as super sub like yday
Fantastic Swedish National Team training jacket you have there Rob!! :D Looking great! Where did you find it??? And from what year is it?
Great pod guys! Can you please do a loan round up soon? Would love to hear how the kids are doing (you can exclude Hojbjerg, don't really count him)
Villa beat us in second gear.. Then we went into 3rd and 4th and suddenly Villas in the rearview mirror calling the AA for an engine change 😂🤣💪💪💪🏎️
Super double act guys - Ali giving more and more of the ball to Rob
I think Sonny did swear a tad when he sat in his seat A.G , it was surprising
NO, NO Ange's system is for more than one central attacker is for more avenues to goal than just one
Eriksen scored a FK against Juventus in 2017
I saw stats were Kane had scored only one goal from a direct free kick in over 65 attempts his greed and crap at taking them is the reason we have not scored that many. Two goals in over 56 set pieces against us yet we are crap at defending them.
