Just wanted to thank you. We just traveled to Japan and made good use of your videos (not just this one). They were all super helpful. I got my kids a bunch of cool stuff at Yamashiroya.😎
Thanks Diego! Glad to hear Yamashiroya was a good stop for you and the family!
@@YellowProductions I didn't go with kids but I found a great hotel near Tokyo station for families if you need one. Karaksa Hotel Colors.
nice video! thanks. it give me some ideas where to find toys during my tokyo visit next time
+kornkixassman My pleasure.. I hope you get some good toys!
Nakano Broadway is awesome. I live here in Tokyo, and if you would like to see some of the more obscure vintage toy shops let me know! Cheers :)
where would i find any vintage toy shops in tokyo ? since im planing a trip i would love to stop buy some cool vintage toy shops. thanks in advance .
As I mentioned in my comment above, the best place to find vintage toys is at Nakano Broadway which is across from JR Nakano Station. It's a massive mall chock full of little shops containing vintage toys, games, movies, books, manga, etc... there are some other places located around Tokyo, but Nakano Broadway is the best with the most options all in one place.
TOKYO TOY BASTARD are bearbricks only being sold in medicom store? i'm going to japan but will only able visit ginza and shinsaibashi ㅠㅠ
Ayu Nandini - you can find Bearbricks in various shops within Nakano Broadway, also at shops like Book-Off.
is there a place in tokyo called character alley or street (suppose to have many shops) that sells vintage bullmark and marusan?
Your vid makes me want to go back to Japan to add more toys to my collection lol
Thanks for the vid man. Keep it up!
Awesome!

+Eli Hernandez A plethora of awesomeness Indeed!
Thank you yellow prod for sharing your cool videos specially ur recent visit on sdcc2017
+Fortune Herrera Thanks Fortune!
always go to yamashiroya when I visit Oeno zoo to see the pandas. great and fun place.
It sure is!
If you're looking for plastic models kits and hobby supplies, Akihabara can't be beat. Yodobashi is amazing and has anything you could want. Yellow Submarine and Volks are awesome as well. All of them are close to the station too.
Nakano Broadway is pretty cool too :)
Hi, good day! Can you recommend the best Bearbrick store around Tokyo in terms of price and inventory? Thank you.
One question which toy store sells bandai super sentai toys 90s one or current one both because i want to go to japan someday to buy it?
Where the best to find Kaws toy?
Please tell me
Awesome. I pretty much went to all those stores. I often go to yamashiroya and yodobashi. As a kid i used to go to kiddyland though that building was renovated. Hakuhinkan was the one i mentioned to you before which is by far the best toy store i have seen in japan though not in the most convenient location. Tokyo station in the basement can count too in a way but a bit of a mess due to the many many shops. I went to nakano last week and its been awhile since ive been there. Its not as good as it used to be sadly. But a great place for tourists to visit.
+jaysato Indeed... Thanks for the tip on Hakuhinkan! And I agree on the basement of Tokyo Station.. that probably should have earned an Honorable mention.. i didn't get a chance to get over there and do any video on this trip though :)
Hi! I live in Spain. How or where can I buy train toys for my kid?
Which suburb is the best place to stay, near toy shops?
My friends are obsessed with detective conan.
*so grabing those*
Nice
What selks chogokin and transformers in nakano broadway
Which shop is in osaka??
I'm looking for something specific - those rubber band powered model airplane kits like you see in the Totoro movie. I wonder if they exist anymore. We actually had Miyazaki -sensei on an online interview section and I asked him if he built such models and he said he did, except he had to modify them with extra wings and such.
Wish be at Japan and miss Japan badly~
miss the Foods and Shopping~
Hope the COVID-19 pandemic getting well soon...
Luckily I still can shop my snack, figures and Japan vintage stuff from hoyoyo Japan Proxy web~
Hope someday i can visit Japan ❤️
😇🙏🏻

Yellow Productions: ok hehehehe...I will watch your video always :)
Would I be able to find Speed Racer stuff? What was Voltron called in Japan? When I was in grade school in 1983 I would run home from school to watch those cartoons.

What brand is the WW2 Tanks, Cars and Samurai buildings?

I'm pretty sure i hear a very odd version of "La Bamba" with a kid singing it in the second store... Japan, you amaze me lol.
+Jazz This Hah!
Hi,
Do you know where can I buy playmobil in Tokyo?
Hi Kobi.. sorry I don't!
pokemon sailor moon kirby moomin hello kitty disney soft toy duffy teddy bear. i love it.
I actually went to The Gundam Base in Diver City, which is in Odaiba. As you can guess, there are lots of Gunpla being sold there, there are even Gunpla exclusive to there. Also, if you go to Diver City's festival plaza, you can see a life-sized Unicorn Gundam statue. However, the Gunpla being sold there aren't very cheap.
There's another location where you can buy cheaper Gunpla. It's a department store in Shinjuku called 'LABI'. The Gunpla being sold there are cheaper.
Neat!!!
Can u tell a shop that sells Dragon ball action figures in AKIHABARA?
+Ashutosh Joshi Sorry.. it's been awhile since I've been there!
There are other toy stores not mentioned in the video: Mandarake and Bic Camera department store.
+coffeetime1001 Thanks for the additional tips!
I Will go to Ginza tomorrow
+Holy Squishy Enjoy!
did you go to mirai store?
+Joystories I don't think I've been there
Where can one buy really cheap gachapon?
In Akihabara visit Akihabara's Gachapon Kaikan. MN building 1F, 3-15-5 Soto-Kanda, Chiyoda-ku, +81 3 5209 6020, akibagacha.com. Open Mon-Thurs 11am-8pm, Fri-Sat 11am-10pm, Sun 11am-7pm
Thanks!
In your favorite Tokyo toy store. Do they sell Transformers? The Masterpiece versions?
It's been awhile since I've been there so not sure
Do you have a video explaining how to purchase tax free and how to bring your items back home with you?
Hi Terry -- the tax free shopping is really simple in Japan. It's all done at the store you bought the stuff from. There's nothing you have to do at the airport. Just tell the store you're a visitor and you'd like tax free. Each store does it a little differently. Some have a specific cash register you need to buy from. Others make you pay the whole thing. Then give you a refund. It varies.
Just letting you know the definition for the capsule machine is gatcapon
Thanks :)
@@YellowProductions your welcome
How much for that toy capsule?
I mean for every toy capsule
A few hundred yen.. I don't recall exactly!
How u travel a lot u hit the lotto or really good job or you live off ur RUclips videos
I answer that very question in this video about how I travel cheap! ruclips.net/video/W88i9Hfrcok/видео.html
I din't see the captain America shield
I wouldn't count vending machine land or bubble capsule land as toy stores.
man I would not be able to live here. Hell I wont ever visit it or places like this.
詳しすぎ

I always use the ATM in Japan to get Yen. 7-11 Convenience store ATMs always take international cards

+Cute Cat Productions! My pleasure!
+Cute Cat Productions! I hope you have a great trip!

Nijntje aka "Miffy " lol

+Pierre Antoine Louise Bordeaux Is awesome! :)
Suguii! Thanks for sharing!!!
Hindi language please
1:58 I think you mean thirty four thousand yen. As the label reads 34,500, and three thousand four hundred yen most certainly isn't $300.
Good catch!
yellow productions buddy?
Yup... If you want to see why my channel is called Yellow Productions -- then watch this video: ruclips.net/video/yBqzsDEt1xU/видео.html

He said "About" and tbh it was on the spot converting so Id cut him some slack.
be aware that, just because you think of something, you don't always have to say it.
Looks like that first one was Akihabara. 20 minutes from me.... dunno, didnt watch the whole vid, but i think so
First one is near Ueno Station
Yellow Productions oh. Cool. Thanks. Don’t go to Ueno much, but nice to know. You live in Tokyo? I been here 13 years
Cool! I live in California near Los Angeles... I just seem to visit Tokyo quite a bit :)
I come to these videos just to point out kamen rider stuff 3:55 drive and dick-head-do
There not legi looking characters THERE CALLED BEARBRICKS
+Big Ant Ah.. cool. Thanks :)
I want beyblades
I been to Japan a lot of times, and man, their toy stores are light-years better than the US. What do we have in the US? Oh yeah, Toy's-R-Us, a cheapo corporate store that sells low-quality, overrated brands, and overpriced cheaply knock-off toys.
+Evan Hizon I agree. US toy stores are lame in comparison :)
WHAAAAAAAAAT? NO MEGAZORDS!!!! IM THROUGHLY LET DOWN!! 😂
Japan is wonderful. It sad, I can’t go there.
It will reopen again! Just plan what you're going to do when they reopen :)
Did u see any beyblades or dbz collectibles?
3!!!2!!!1!!! GO SHOOOT!!!!!
Wow you can understand?
Are the toys contaminated with radiation since Fukushima power plant is close?
It's just like, "F.A.O. Schulz".
@03:00.. 70 years in business, of course, because there were no @%#& around to ruin their businesses. :^)
It is good that Japan is insular. :-)
