Robert always brought the fun(k) and in a business suit too! This cat was suave! One of my all time favorite singers! The Power Station was “ THE BOMB” in the 80’s. Truly the greatest music of all time in my honest opinion.Rock on Robert Palmer! ❤️
even at his age that time i think he was 40 or 42 n still his voice was just perfect as heaven! r.i.p RP what a leg for making this music no1 could have sang it better then u
They need to make a biopic movie about this legend and the actor that needs to play him is Simon Baker. If you don't know who he is, the TV show The Mentalist, he is the Patrick Jane. Look at Robert Palmer at this age and look at Baker.
Guitar is much better here than other versions of live, heavier and raw. It's what makes the live sound better. Not to mention that man can sing with style like no other. He was classic as it gets But that guitarist is good as hell.
After all these years it’s good to see Eddie Martinez reprise his signature solo. He didn’t have to steal from Eddie VH or Randy Rhodes to make his mark in music history. 🎸
What r those the 'high as f***' dance moves😂?! Whatever he is on I don't judge. His vocals in this video & it's my favorite version of this song R.I.P. you sweet amazing talented man!!!
Ian th3_r0ck3r born in England in 1976. I witnessed all of this, the birth of hip hop, rap, grunge, acid house, techno, drum and bass etc etc. The UK was an amazing place to grow up during the 80's and 90's.
It was an incredible industry back then with memorable stadium performances and great live bands. Rock, Jazz, Soul, New Romanticism, Funk, Progressive etc. And the Sixties belonged to Britain: www.rollingstone.com/music/news/the-british-invasion-from-the-beatles-to-the-stones-the-sixties-belonged-to-britain-19880714. RIP the British music industry, bollocks to Mr Cowell.
Ian th3_r0ck3r Ian, I'm the same person who replied to an earlier comment of yours above and once again you've nailed it with this comment of yours here. I live in Boston am 64 and began listening EARNESTLY to Rock 'n Roll when I was four in 1956 and the EARLY Elvis turned the world upside down with his records. Then in 1964 my very first Concert was The Beatles at the Old Boston Garden just 2 streets over from where I lived. After THAT there was no stopping me. Bought my first Guitar with my own money from a part-time job I had and pretty much saw all the Great Brit's, Stones, Zep, Humble Pie, Faces, Cream, the ORIGINAL Fleetwood Mac with Peter Green, etc, etc. Still have NOT stopped and have NO plans on doing so !!! My Band's last Gig was with a virtually unknown California Band back in 1978, Van Halen. Right now I'm trying this to you on my lousy Smart Phone in the Music Room of my house where I have 18 of my 27 Guitars and four Amps surrounding me as I CAN and still do lay down Tracks for mixing into other Tracks from the many other great Musician Friends I am SO fortunate to have. Whatever comes our way KEEP ROCKING !!! VERY Nice 'talking' with you !!!
Great performance! 👍👍 This vid sounds like the audio was recorded at the soundboard, and given that it was in Japan, it's no surprise that the sound quality is very good. 😎
Saw other great songs from this concert but this is a first. Robert "Wildman" Palmer Just let it rip and did a great unrestrained performance on this one. ❤ it!
Un fuera de serie de su tiempo, no reconocido suficientemente a pesar de su GRAN VALIA. Las discotecas estan en deuda con el. Insisto, un Nº 1 que marco toda una epoca.
Thats Eddie Martinez, It was the 80's man. And, he is an AMAZING musician and friend. He played with David Lee Roth, Tina Turner, Chaka Kahn, Robert Palmer, Stanley Clarke and George Duke, Jennifer Batten, On and on. He's a friend and lives here in the Portland Metro area. He would laugh if he saw the comment though.. Lol.. Peace.. D
He had a tremendous vocal technique, besides that lovely attitude.
He is humble....
I saw him at the Roxy in L.A. in the mid 70s & called him "piss & vinegar Joe" & he laughed it off, heartily! 😅 whatta guy.
Robert Palmer takes cool to another level.
absolutely
He's dead you know?
Robert Palmer, what a fucking legend, there's no doubt. He lived like a hero and died as a hero, 100%
Always thought this masterpiece needed a longer guitar solo, and there it is in all its glory. Totally ballsy sound!
Eddie used Tom Sholz Rockman power amps.
How good was this guy. Amazing
I am a die hard metalhead but Robert Palmers voice was in incredible. He was an incredible artist all around.

Bob Palmer was a crazy motherfucker. Great sense of humour and a true nerd of the Blues.

There´s only one guy wearing a suit who can sing addicted to love while being as cool as Robert Palmer and that´s Robert Palmer.
Robert always brought the fun(k) and in a business suit too! This cat was suave! One of my all time favorite singers! The Power Station was “ THE BOMB” in the 80’s. Truly the greatest music of all time in my honest opinion.Rock on Robert Palmer! ❤️
He remains me of a cross between James Bond and Ric Flair. He was so smooth. No telling how much top level ass he banged.
Robert Palmer was pure class! That suit has to be hotter then hell

even at his age that time i think he was 40 or 42 n still his voice was just perfect as heaven! r.i.p RP what a leg for making this music no1 could have sang it better then u
At 40-42 you’re not old!!🤦♀️
Saw him on this tour. Holy smokes was it an incredible show.
They need to make a biopic movie about this legend and the actor that needs to play him is Simon Baker. If you don't know who he is, the TV show The Mentalist, he is the Patrick Jane. Look at Robert Palmer at this age and look at Baker.
Rest in Peace Robert Palmer 1949-2003
This song just never gets old. Love it!
Guitar is much better here than other versions of live, heavier and raw. It's what makes the live sound better. Not to mention that man can sing with style like no other. He was classic as it gets

glorious 80s in every atom... :-)
80s right smack in the middle of it. I was 12 in love with Daisy Duke , Blondie, Kylie Minogue Elle McPherson and Grace Jones.
Might as well face it, I'm addicted to Robert Palmer. Nice post.
If you lived in these times you are truly privileged. The 80's was a great decade for music, before Simon Cowell was sent from hell to fcuk it all up.
BEST Comment on RUclips YET !!!
Haha cheers mate all the best 👍

Gotta love the men who can rock out in their Saville Row suits. Rockin' out with a sense of class and style. RP was a killer act, R I P!
My God, that anyone could think "love," is the center of this song is blind. It's so raw.
I have always loved his songs. He was/is a very sexy man.
