- An amazing opportunity came along for Christopher Halligan and Jess Reinl to sing with The Peace Proms of Ireland. The addition of the orchestra to Shallow is incredible. Thanks to Greg, Sharon and all the members of the orchestra and team for such a kind welcome.
The reaction of Greg Beardsell, orchestra conductor, to Chris and Jess and the performance of all the orchestra members make this video extra special.

Christopher is her # 1 Fan, always the same genuine anticipation and reaction when he knows she's about to, effortlessly, hit those notes. The thing is, he's freaking awesome too. Am I the only one that has watched every version of these two? AMAZING!

I just discovered them tonight by random luck playing around on youtube. I actually saw the Christmas video first. The orchestra in this one made it better and she seemed to be a little more into this one. Both are incredible though. I would pay to see these 2 live for sure. I don't say that about many singers I see on youtube.

Beth nicole agreed....they are the backbone....and every great voice has 2 have everything else that goes into it as well. I played in orchestra's, concert, symphonic, & jazz bands from Texas to New York City to Colorado & California but we never had vocalists perform with us. I really don't know why but yes u are correct. All of the filler in the background is very important 2 the performance. Its definitely a group effort....no doubt.

We only met the conductor and orchestra for the first time that morning. This is a clip of the rehearsal that morning, then the clip above is the afternoon. Will never know how we managed to pull it all together!

Jess does something here that she does not do in the many other versions of Shallow on RUclips, in fact, nobody anywhere else does it. When she hits that highnote for 8 beats, 2 measures, she goes right into the next measure, and sings 8 more beats all on one breath. It is so elegant, so beautiful, and she makes it look effortless. Glorious.
They sing it better then the original song with bradley and gaga. This girl killed it and the young man was very very good. Their voices compliments each other. Great job guys 🥰

I know Chris pretty well. Used to be at family gatherings. He would always sing, always jovial and just brought with him an energy that would fill a room. Himself and Jessica have such a natural synchronicity. I think its their personalities that really shines too. They don't even have to talk but you know they're good kids.
