@@s34x Schlimm, wenn man, wie in diesem Fall, der Willkür eines Tyrannen ausgeliefert ist, denn er nimmt mit seinen Grenzüberschreitungen und seinen Machtspielen den Musikschülern den "Spaß an der Freud`"! - Wie wär`s denn, wenn ihr Schüler ihn mal auf diesen Oberstufenchor hinweist. Vielleicht bringt ihn das zum Nachdenken...! Alles Gute!
Unsere Schule hat eine BigBand mit Sängern. Diese wird von zwei Lehrern freiwillig seit knapp 10 Jahren geleitet. Wir waren schon beim WDR und hatten einen Auftritt mit den Musikern der WDR BigBand. Im Sommer letzten Jahres haben wir als Eröffnungsakt bei der Europafechtmeisterschaft gespielt.....unsere Musiklehrer sind DEFINITIV unterbezahlt. Außerdem haben wir noch einen Chor, der genauso Ambitioniert wie dieser ist und das einzige Schulfootballteam Deutschlands, das professionellen Football spielt. Einer von uns geht jetzt in die NFL.

Wahrscheinlich liest Keiner mehr nach fast 5 Jahren hier den Kommentar, aber ich muss es einfach noch schreiben. Wirklich super klasse was ihr und Euer Chorleiter auf die Beine gestellt habt. Wenn man bedenkt das ihr (nur) ein Schulchor seid ist das absolut super mega top. Das Video wurde mir aus Zufall mit auf meine Playliste gestellt, und seitdem läuft es ein paar mal am Tag und bringt mir immer eine mega Krinsen auf`s Gesicht und auch Gänsehaut. Ich finde es schön zu sehen das unsere Jugend nicht vollkommen abgedreht ist. Jetzt seid ihr ja Alle schon mit der Schule fertig und geht neue Wege. Ich hoffe das einige von Euch der Musik treu geblieben sind und ihre Zukunft auf diesem Weg weiterführen werden. Euch alles Gute und vielen vielen Dank für das tolle Video.

During the lockdown in 2020 I watched this concert (and certainly this song) over and over again and it made my days better. Young talents, a huge choir, a concert hall full of people: a promise for the future. Now that life is returning to normal I feel like the promise becomes real and it brings me once again into tears. Thank you for this gift to humanity.

Agreed. Especially the bass guitarist. The guys on the keyboards added a lot of nice soft embellishments, too. I have listened to this multiple times, focusing on different parts .... the choir, the rapper, the musicians. All participated in making this a very moving performance.

How inspiring!, my wife had a stroke this spring and my heart aches for us she is still with me now I don’t know for how long I woke this morning to this performance I believe my Heavenly Father brought this to me so there is one more day of healing and to be with her. GREAT solo my brother
my son died in 2021, he died in my arms, he was taking his last breaths until he stopped. That broke my heart in thousand pieces. Coming back from that has been a struggle. Life does not feel the same.
I know for a fact that none of my words would alleviate your pain and the anguish you feel every second of your existence but please give yourself time. We're too attached to the world we exist in and take it for the eternal reality whereas we do not know what exists beyond this. Perhaps something more beautiful for us mortal beings to yet perceive and feel. Think of it. What would you choose for your beloved son? Please choose to believe he's in a far better place - happy, healthy and moving ahead in the journey his soul is bound to undertake. I do firmly believe, we will all catch up eventually with all the dear ones we think we have "lost" in this world. Holding onto the pain of losing him will only hold him back from moving onto his intended journey. Dwell on the fact that he at least entered your life and is bound to your soul for eternity. Please take care and please make sure you send him all your love, warmth and prayers, he deserves it and is waiting!

I lost my son a month before his 19th Birthday back in 13!! This song by p diddy was the song.. nope not anymore!! Seeing this kids sing this and do an amazing job!! This is my sons song right here!! Wish I could buy it and play it over and over!! I miss him so much, and the pain will never go away but watching this I have tears of joy!!! Thank you so much!!
