For example, in the eggs she used sugar as a substitute, but traditionally mirin is what is used for sweetness. She forgot to mention that. If it is available to you, I recommend using the traditional ingredient to expand your palette. Not a big deal though!

I love Japanese culture and a huge fan of Japanese cuisine. But not a cook myself and I don’t think I will ever try my hand in kitchen arts. However, I watch this Chanel for the sole purpose of taking a break from the distressing realities of the pandemic, political propaganda and a uncivil attitudes in most parts of our lives. Watching this Chanel fills me with hope for a kinder, more gentle future where people radiate as much beauty and happiness like Mother and Daughter in these videos. It’s like entering a Fairy Tale. The sushi rolls looked delicious, Moe. When I was in college years ago, a fellow student from Japan made us sushi and he showed us how it was done. Unfortunately for us, none of my roomies could even make anything close to a functioning sushi roll and once our friend moved back to Japan, we pretty much gave up trying to make them. I'm going to give this a try as your video made it look pretty simple.

My mom made gyudon from the recipe on your site and it was AWESOME!!! I like it better with the shaved beef but she did it perfect!!!! As for sushi, I love unagi. I like them better when it is made by an authentic Japanese restaurant.
