Grew up in this scene and I guess so did my kids and this was their first show ever and I couldn’t have been any happier and I’m sure they felt the same.

There were actually two session drummers on the first EP. Alex was finishing up with his previous band when they recorded the EP.

Holy fuck when the bassist jumped on the crowd I lost everything.
Vocally I don't understand how this is being done but it's absolutely mesmerizing! Then those pitch harmonics on guitar are just blowing my mind. What a band! The entire ensemble is at the top of their game.

I saw these guys open up for AFI at the December Underground tour in 2006 at the house of house in Las Vegas back to back on Friday and Saturday. The cool thing was my ex and I and her sister only had tickets for Saturday night, but we took our chances showed up on the Friday night show and ran into smith * jades brother *AfI's tour manager. Smith remembered my ex gf from other past shows and he ended up putting us on guest list! Super cool dude and Saosin was awesome on both nites!

@@Arslan6661Cove literally got kicked out of the band for how bad he was at singing live. Anthony might not be your style of singing but there's no question he's been way more successful than Cove.
Cove has sounded better recently but he completely lost it for like 5 years. They are two different styles and two different levels of musician. Anthony is an icon of post hardcore. He's in a "supergroup" with LS Dunes because of who he is.
@@dannygibson2597 this is just pepole looking at the past through rose tinted glass. everyone's forgetting how much better Anthony is because he's just been consistent. Easy to take him for granted and treat Cove like the comeback / underdog story. Anthony is better you're right

At first, I did not like what Anthony did on the vocals here. Sure, he can't be the same voice as he was on the album, I get that, but I was not liking it. But I keep coming back to this video now and I like how he has adapted in age in this version almost as much as the original after getting used to it. What a legend.

Well, been a listening to this band for more than 10 years. Cover and Anthony are both good vocalists in their own right tho Cove is a little better live. ♥️

Is it just me or does it seem like cove just can't handle what it takes to sing anymore within the throat / vocal cords, and the audio just really seems to be quiet on some of the vocals from cove and just drawn over with audio from the instruments and back up vocals idk just something was off here for me. Band sounded great like always though, cove just seems to not fit in with them anymore
I'm the only one that never liked Antony with Saosin? I know, Cove used to sound wasted live back in the day... but his voice fits so much better with the band anyways.
