I’ve never broken an lcd despite model using that thin metallic prying tool to open a screen. You just have to be extremely careful using heat + alcohol. This tool doesn’t work well on broken screens and is mainly used to open fully working screens without damaging them.
I am a professional and a similar tool from another manufacturer helps me every single time. It spares me burnt fingers and green lines on the screen.. i definitely recommend it.
The apple device is just superior. I like how it heats the bezel up and I only need to apply a little alcohol to the edge while the suction cup pulls up to release the screen instantly
Based on some experience, a drop of mineral (etc.) oil in middle of suction cup might improve the suction grip, which doesn't occur with cracked glass. Worth a try.
Just nitpicking, and wouldnt make a huge difference, but you're using the wrong screw for the opening, it's supposed to have a round head at the end. Also, I don't think you're supposed to keep lifting when the screen is bowing like that. Probably why you got a green line defect. I think you need to stick a pry tool to unclip around the side. This tool just helps lift the screen up so you can get a pry tool in without damaging the screen or frame.
if you dont want to review a product just dont do it, but if you are, you had to know (as a pro) a suction cup most likely not gonna work on cracks because the surface is missing thats needed for suction.
What about the left side opening tool..it’s on mobile Sentrix..is that recommended..I have never done the 13 & 14 series..and I want a tool that can help with this.. Any thoughts..??
Hello Miss can you help Me, how to inject Voltage to find Short circuit, I mean when Samrtphone is short for first step where do I place MY short breaker tool probe. I only new here. Please
I will like to see you opening the back glass in android phones, but I guess it will be problematic one, because a lot of them have curved edges and camera bump in strange places.
14:20 my idea is put screen glue on that part of the screen, put film or glass to.make it flat and let dry....then remove the film and apply the suction, will work fine i guess.
IF YOU TRY TO OPEN THE WINDOW WHEN COLD IT WILL BE DAMAGED. YOU MUST OPEN IT WHEN IT IS WARM. I WORK IN A COMPANY WHERE WE REMANUFACTURE APPLE 11 PRO, MAX ETC, 12 PRO, MAX ETC 13 PRO, MAX ETC. AND I KNOW WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT. BETTER WHEN THEY ARE A LITTLE HOT OR WARM, A LINE CROSSING THE ENTIRE LENGTH OF THE SCREEN WILL SURELY APPEAR.
It’s not useless is you put some wide tape over the screen. It will pull a suction. I use the same truck using a suction cup to remove screens manually. I don’t see why this wouldn’t work here.
You're a beautiful donkey, and it's normal that the suction cup doesn't adhere well to the display, because it's ruined and air gets in because it's being massacred, you had to put some tape in the display to make everything uniform and then use the suction cup, I have the same tool and I've never had any problems, learn to use the tools

The only Apple device I've ever owned is an iPod Shuffle from back in the day but I still watch these vids because they are so interesting.
Repairing my wife's work, I only saw one and that is you, and I find it very interesting. Good luck

The Refox Mobile Screen opener put a green line defect in one of the OLED screens when we tested after opening. Sorry, can't recommend.

Did you use hot air/ipa with it for the adhesive?

if you have cracked glass, I find parcel tape then the use the suction cup works.
You are awesome Ma’am i always learn from your experience my best regards from Egypt , God bless you 🥰
For me I would recommend it because this is better than using the manual method by hands

Have you seen instructions for this device from the manufacturer?
GREAT video. Thanks alot for sharing.

you can use isopropyl alcohol to soften the glue.

thank you master
I would try to use shiny tape that is as wide as the suction cup. Wider than standard tape.
Dose the suctions to work if the screen is cracked

The tighten screw works the wrong way: turn Left to tighten, turn right to untighten...
That's just counter intuitive.

It is an interesting looking jig regardless of your findings.
Yup
Good for a DIY'er, not for a PRO. I would agree! In other words, I would benefit! :)
Are you selling it at your store
Have any of you guys used REFOX schematic software?
No, and you ? Is it good ?

Refox RS50 cep telefonu açacağı incelemesi
I'm using only standard method. Is better.
i woudn't recommend that... while you open the screen it bends too much and thats definetely a problem! in asia iphone screens are very very expensive
Hello mam.. I want to be your student... can you help me in learning
If the glass is cracked , the micro fractures will let air in and break the vacuum .
Good point
why so expensive tool just few tool work fine
every crack on the screen aligned with the suction cup will let the air in so it cannot grip this gizmo is useless for crack screen

Vaseline to fill voids in cracks
I use my samsung AOD to open iphones 🤣
