    everything about this swing is perfect!

    One thing I have noticed with every power hitter is how much they clear the hips at impact. His belt buckle is completely facing the target line. He almost comes out of his shoes at impact, his lower body is rotating so fast.

    This is the new "power swing" technique:
    1.) Tremendous take back reverse flex 0:02 and "spring back" at the top of the swing. Requires shoulder flexibility and maximum head turn(just keep left eye on ball).
    2.) 0:12 Weight shift from right to left. This is normally bad, but needed to launch shoulder rotation torque.
    3.) 0:14 Rock back(watch head) and jump swing. Done right zero gravity on both feet, but they are "level". Also, using toe and side of foot to maintain "twist"control.
    Every hacker(including me) wants to be able to do this.
    New golf courses are being designed with extra wide fairways for us, too.

    At 0:10 the left shoulder is almost more touching his right cheek than his chin and the left elbow is almost above his head.

    Unreal. I am twice this guys size and probably twice his strength but his technique is flawless. If i could only get this good technically. Unbelievable skill and art to his drive.

      Kyle is a big dude lmao if you're twice his size then you need a diet

      Pure strength isn't the only thing you need. You need to train speed, which comes from the fast twitch fibers in your muscles. Doing bench presses and dumb bell curls doesn't help with that.

      So about 10 years of training and skill development.

    That looks just like my lob wedge swing when I'm short-sided: if I can just get the ball 600 feet up in the air, it might not roll out way past the hole.

    Best long drive swing to emulate right now. Don't forget the quick backswing should be ratio and proportion to the downswing unlike a Hideki Matsuyama slow backswing.

    • @amarug
      @amarug 2 года назад

      I was thinking about that, but how come Matsuyama still hits bombs? (not long drive of course, but well above the tour average)

    • @xoxo3947
      @xoxo3947 2 года назад

      @@amarug Matsuyama has an awesome pga tour type golf swing with plenty of speed but a different tempo backswing than Kyle's. Look up ground force reaction in the golf swing. PGA tour swing and long drive are different animals. One is for scoring and the other is for speed and distance. Kyle can do both though not at a PGA tour level yet. Look up his You Tube channel.

      @@amarug Cameron Young has a similar slightly faster backswing with a "pause at the top" swing like Hideki but 20 to 30 yards longer. Hip speed rotation and ground force reaction play a major role in distance. ruclips.net/video/BmkSidD0Qmg/видео.html

      @@xoxo3947 Thank you for the reply! Yes I was curious because I myself have a reaaaally slow tempo but I hit it quite far. Nothing on these guys of course, but on the weekend club tournament I do get a good amount looks and comments. To me it feels like I am "hitting the ball using my legs". A pro recently measured my ground forces and said they were pretty insane. My feet also leave a path of destruction on the range. But I have tried to up my tempo and make a fast backswing, but I just can't, it all goes to hell and I end up super short and all other place. I seem to need this super slow swing...

    Not much lateral shift in the hips at all. Just straight turn and post up on that left leg.
