@@connmoss9727 i mean, it's kind of generic, but at least the lyrics are clever and quirky. the vocals are far from perfect and there's something cool about the arrangements. so much less inspired crap out now (but man is there some good stuff too).

@@connmoss9727 cute was one of the first "neon pop punk" subgenre bands signed onto fueled by ramen :) so they actually did inspire somewhat of a trend right after.
The rain in the beginning reminds me how I'd jam out to this song in 11th grade while getting ready for school in the winter. I don't think any other song out there reaches quite the level of nostalgia for me.
This album came out when John Feldman (the singer from Goldfinger) was producing an album from Cute is what we Aim For and The Used at the same time. If you listen close enough, you can hear Bert McCracken laughing, screaming, and providing some other little background vocals on this song. the only reason that i ever realized it is because i knew that feldman had produced both of their albums was because i was so obsessed with the used that i knew he had produced this album, in love and death, and lies for the liars.
john feldman is a fucking god man... this sound is unbelievably good. so much talented.

They were opening for Simple Plan in saint john, and me and a friend shared a Jay with one of their crew and he brought us on the bus to roll another and a couple of the band members from CIWAF and Faber drive where chilling in there smoking. good ol days.

i think what hes talking about is the live performance part.. that do that live and sync it up but in all they dont use the live audio so youre both of you are right in a way.

When i was first introduced to CIWWAF i first listened to "there's a class for this" and i loved it!Then i heard this one till the first chorus and i wasn't so amazed...then i heard the second verse and it sounded better then i went through the rest of the song untill i ended up on the outro......i said: The outro made up for the whole song! Well i gotta say this....The less known you are,the easiest you make nice music! ;)
