When I listen to this album, it makes me feel like I should have more memories of tons of different things than JUST skateboarding. All the parties I never went to, girls I never danced with/kissed, football games, dances, etc. But I cherish the memories I DO have and becoming intimate with my city through skateboarding and all the friends I made through that passion. Things were so care-free and we all go through this, but emotions well up and I feel like I'm gonna burst sometimes. fuck. Things are always more glorious in hindsight.

This song came out when I was 19. I remember it always being played in Hollister. Sadly, these types of bands and music are not being played on the radio and aren't mainstream anymore.

This entire album is uniquely good when you've been out of high school long enough. It's been over 10 years for me now and this album makes me reflect on those high school days in an appreciative light, the things that used to be so important to me feel inconsequential now, but they were genuinely important to me then. It's like fondly reminiscing despite the awful times, grateful you were that teenager so you could be the adult you are now.
This brings back so much nostalgia it hurts. I miss being a teenager playing on my PSP and using my old LG phone. With theses types of songs in it, good times. XD
