Jonathan...I can't thank you enough for introducing me to Eddie 9V (Brooks) with this video. I've spent the past day discovering his music and story online and HOLY SHIT!!! I'm embarrassed I'm just discovering him and the band now. HE'S THE GENUINE ARTICLE! Thanks to you and Casino Guitars for giving him even more exposure. He's my new favorite Bluesman!
I really dig this dude, he seems very easy to get into and from the little music I've heard from the IG videos, it seems like a damn good time at those shows!
In North Florida for past 15 years I have loaned Guitars, Amps, PA Systems to cables to Musicians that either need something special to Record with, to those that Lost, broke or had gear stolen and if ever break down and in my area can always call upon me, and probably 3 to 4 Strats & Teles each, a couple of Shredder Guitars, a Ric Bass Copy I built and Victoria Slash Goldtop. I do ask that artists dont abuse my gear or fling my Goldtop around their necks and return it in reasonably good condition, but don't charge anything although every once in awhile we do get invited to watch artist play
I checked out a few Eddie 9V videos after watching. Sounds like the new George Thorogood. Too bad Amazon Music is always trying to push Taylor Swift on me (Go Bills!!!!) and never suggests these artists.
i perfer micing my amp clean on the quieter side with an attenuator, i have 2 overdrive pedals only (usually jhs mg, and a klon clone or ts9) mainly mic up for iems.
This is a casino I can wake up to and get a consistent smile.
