    JP i know what a pain it is to do the springs and the bottom pan. why don't you use the threaded bar to take the spring tension then undo the ball joint from the iron upright. you should then have the top wishbones free like the other side to lift up and change the nut on the back. easier than messing with the spring pan again !!. the chassis Spring top will support the sprung tension of the bottom wishbone. as to the tropical fan just clean it up and use it i and sure you can flatten that little nick on the one blade. clean the rusty frame and paint black and polish the Aluminium.

      Oh hey thanks so much for the info I’m sure I’ll get it figured out I’m just voicing frustration trying to get to the next step so I one day I get to drive the car

      @@pucman1 I know the pain, I've had the same problems with my '57 TR3. I've had the front together for the "last time" several times, maybe I'm to much of a perfectionist. Are those rubber seals on the lower wishbones where they connect to the frame correct? I don't remember seeing them in the parts catalog, only the ones for the trunnion.

      @@trevormessmer3956 They came in my rebuild kit so i looked on the moss site, part number 116 ...... mossmotors.com/triumph-tr2-3-4/suspension-steering/front-suspension-tr2-4
      Parts should be here today when i get home.Cheers
