The Buckeyes made an incredible hire bringing in Knowles to right the defensive ship. Thanks for the video!

Yup, it was made just for you guys after all! Thank goodness Knowles gets to go coach at the REAL OSU, we all knew his talents were being wasted at our vastly inferior school.

This defense was Built to kompensate for a lak of athletikism. Its an answer for a spread offense when u kant man up and trust ur guy is the Better player. We dont lak athletes at Ohio State. Thats y we played more of a man defense under koach UrBan. Day vs SaBan was a fiasko. We werent Beat By a spread offense. It was mainly two plays that kept us from glory. A BuBBle skreen/ power o. Both were kompressed/ iso style formations that targeted a desired matchup in favor of SaBan. Then again w/ oregon. Its the lak of making adjustments that hurt our team. I honestly dont understand how this defensive scheme will help us.

@@BurnellBrownIII I couldnt agree more. I don't either. I've had the same weird feeling about this kind of scheme. This defense fit this team perfectly. And people don't mention the fact that everytime he played against a good offense, they put up a lot of points.

@@AkronKid330 @Burnell Brown I disagree. You should realize that despite giving up 20+ points to OU and Notre Dame's offenses in 1H of their respective matches, OSU was able to shut down the points from OU and Notre Dame in the second halves, where they literally could not score. The Cowboys did the same against Baylor, and should have been in the Playoffs if not for an interception prone QB, and their main RB Warren out against Baylor.

Can't wait to see this defense run with a bunch of 4 and 5 star athletes

I mean sure, but most of the osu team from this defense is in the nfl and there were a lot of super seniors. If you watched osu before this year and if you watched osu when the dc got there he didn’t do the best on stopping opponents scoring

@@vandyclips9757 This scheme and Jim Knowles style of development elevated those players to play faster and smarter. He took 2 and 3 star players and made them play a hell of a lot better than they actually were. Know imagine players in this system who are 4 and 5 stars. Nobody has ran this style of defense with high caliber players yet. I think this is going to be game changing. This defense is incredibly confusing for an offense and is very unorthodox.

    • @anonanon8794

Especially confusing for a QB with 3 at the top and corners walked up. Its a very bizarre look from the QBs perspective.

@@anonanon8794 it took knowles a few years of roster building before this defense was competent and it took a lot of seniors this past year to reach national relevance. don't expect fire out of the gate at Ohio St. but it will be good eventually

How was it unreal? Oklahoma put up 33 points and if we're being honest, they probably would have won if that flag was thrown there at the end. You can watch it a million times and see it's pass interference
