Have you ever wanted to paint a painting (or create something) every day of the year? Well in 2024 I decided to paint a mini 4x4inch oil painting every day. Check out the 4 reasons why I decided to do this and some encouragement for you to do something similar, even if it is once a month!

Love this! I like the boundary of something small. Mini scenes in matchboxes are another achievable daily routine I thought was neat. We love your little birdie! Jonathan requests a fluffy penguin!
Thank you so much for this idea. I always want to paint more regularly but cannot find the time. Doing these tiny squares might be the answer because they don't discourage me from the start because they don't take so long to finish. I could try out techniques I wouldn't use in my normal work, and in the end I could always give them away as greeting cards.
I have just discovered your channel and will watch out for more advice from you.

The mini paintings certainly have been fun and like you say dont take long so you get a nice feeling of accomplishment sooner! Let me know how you go with yours!
