Hi there. Just replaced injectors and fuel pipes on 2013 150 prado. It had 175000kms on the clock. Had a rattle on cold start under load. It now runs sweet . I believe that the vehice may have had some bad diesel at some stage. I changed the fuel filter not long after buying this car and noticed some contamination in the filter. Hopefully this 1KD will last as long as my 120 series prado just clocked 495000 km. Second set of injectors on this one. Thanks for your tips and procedures they definitely help along the way.
Sorry by you meaning the injectors needa be right .Shud I use my original ones out off the 2006 engine or is there some way I needa set them .my first time doing this cheers .
2014 prado only 90,000 klms on it and has blown pistons and 2 fuel injectors are not working and Toyota is no help!! Don’t buy a prado!! They are known for these above problems!!

Please send quote for gaskets etc to remove egc valve and inlet gaskets including tool to unbolt injector pipes

Howsit going . I've got a 2006 1kd Hilux and I'm installing a 1kd motor from a 2008 model the inlet monifold is different can i swap them over thanks

To save doing all that, reduce the gung of soot + oil in the inlet to just soot by fitting CC to stop recurculating oil into inlet.
