Given his response. We can safely assume he has indirectly confirmed his CTE.
Unfortunately I have to agree with this opinion, also I think he is tired of this being asked constantly from his reaction.
I disagree. These people are heavily scrutinized but theyre still human… like he said if you poke the bear enough the bear wakes up and pokes back. Its a human response, anyone of us would be the same way.
@@DzevadTopcic he answered all questions the same way not just the CTE questions, he definitely has CTE and this interview is the best example
Yep. Thats the only conclusion to make sense of whats coming out of ABs mouth in response to PBDs questions.
Naw, that is a predatory question
LOL PBD is just a man of class. He did not react to his tantrum to avoid escalating it, master play!
This is how normal grown adults debate. People can tell when someone is trying to win the argument by getting loud and aggressive. They’ll say something like “dude how can you be that dumb?”
Ok…. Why don’t you explain why it’s so dumb? If it’s obvious, the person should get it once you explain it to them.
Patrick is a reasonable man. If he hears something that makes sense, he’s not gonna argue that isn’t right. Yet Antonio couldn’t do that.
Dude sounds like he has CTE.
A bitch play I think your confused
Y'all trying to make this man out to be crazy , it's easy to fuck with plp when you know the police will get involved that's pussy shit .
Chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE) is a progressive brain condition that's thought to be caused by repeated blows to the head and repeated episodes of concussion. It's particularly associated with contact sports, such as boxing or American football. Most of the available studies are based on ex-athletes.
He has CTE. He knows he does. He knows we all know and he feels like everyone is against him.
no he don't 😂
@@alsondthe reason he got so triggered about it is because he knows he has CTE but wants to avoid it. He knows his future is very cloudy and death may be soon. That’s why he got so heated.
@@chrisreed3572I think that’s his biggest problem, he need to let life go and try to do things to help with the cte instead of just letting it be and becoming more unstable bc of it. He may be completely different at this point if he got away from the media and attempted to live away from people to let his brain heal
AB was one of greatest players I have ever seen. He worked so hard on his game. Watching his decline has been really painful.
Yes man THIS! This point right here! Yes! All the God given talent, son of Touchdown Eddie Brown, survives Liberty City Miami, puts in WORK n becomes greatness that's visible to anyone...and then the downfall. He can poof his chest out all he wants, repeat the same cliche inner city struggle (which making it out itself is a worthy accomplishment), but at the end of the day, it's so obvious SOMETHING is not clicking for him inside. He can't take any single criticism or fair question, and just wants to talk over everyone while saying he wants to create dialogue. I just wish he'd understand it's ok to be afraid of shit, it's ok to get help.
But, he'd rather call PBD a "suburban kid" (instead of "survivor of war") to diminish Patrick's struggles in comparison to his. Nobody has struggled more n seen more than AB if you ask AB, which is the saddest part of all
Totally agree man. A lot of people forget how good this dude was. Short guy that made catches outside of a 6-5 receivers radius. It's very sad to see

He's saying stop saying I have CTE b/c of this 1 moment that people tend to focus on. He's saying there are way more things that happened in his career (good and bad) that all adds up to who he is today. He's saying it's not 1 specific incident, but of many throughout his career. So b/c of that, he's saying I'm the summation of everything, not just that 1 hit.
“Tell me your unreasonable.. without telling me your unreasonable” 😂
In AB's case, by bring himself!
I think he was definitely triggered by “the hit” subject because it was traumatizing for him and now his whole career is being deduced by that one event. Not only that but I think in his heart he feels that he has CTE and is probably scared af. So I’m sure it’s frustrating that people are constantly confirming your fears. It’s really sad.
I totally agree with that. He's scared he may have it and don't want people bringing it up confirming his fears. Totally understand that but most people don't give a damn about others just whatever their agenda is.
@@Paul-fq4mm exactly it’s sad
Oh I think he definitely either knows he has it, or is scared he does, and he may even feel that there’s some indications he has it, but he doesn’t want to share what those are.
That said, I didn’t hear that accusation made in this particular interview. I think PBD was searching for AB’s honest feelings about the situation, but AB is so triggered by the topic, he wouldn’t/couldn’t pay attention afterwards.
Spot on
You may be right. I've had a number of concussions from sports..not close to pro levels and I think the scary part is not knowing if you have it. He seems very defensive about the cte possibility and I understand that.
I couldn’t stand someone interrupting me, and incorrectly assigning my intent. I would have stopped this man every single time he incorrectly assumed my intention for asking a question so that you could respond and establish a position. Bless his heart, honestly.
He don't have any heart or brains
Tell me you have CTE without telling me you have CTE
That was hard enough to sit through, think I’ll skip the full ep 😂
I don’t watch football nor know who this guy was beforehand…however, it did get better towards the end when he put his guard down. It took a long time though. It was more a lesson on how to deal with difficult people rather than understand Antonio Brown. That’s on AB though.
I am dying trying to listen to it right now. He is crazy defensive.
The full episode is epic, PBD is the GOAT.
@@daniellem1838 you hit the nail on the head and i’m in your boat don’t watch football and no clue who this dude is but he’s the definition of ignorant and extremely disrespectful but i always learn something from PBD and def did in this one!!
I got to 4:46
He is a narcissist in denial
CTE confirmed throughout the entire 13 mins
Awww. That was so sad when he said it's like a modern day hunger games for people like himself, that many players are from poor beginnings and its the way to improve their financial status, that PBD's kids might not have to go that way. It's sad, but true. College is about corporations and money.
Note: the most relieved I ever felt about my son's sporting life, and he played 4 sports a year, was the day he changed from football to Ultimate Frisbee! Any hit in football can leave your kid changed for life. Watch the Will Smith movie about it. The stats on brain injuries are staggering! Not that you asked me, we ought not to let children make decisions when they truly don't understand what it can cost them later. My son was a kicker so he wasn't in the mix all the time. That did help this mom get through it, but still you hold your breath when a kid is down and not moving, and the ambulance drives into the field and carries him away. It's not worth it.
This reminds me of trying to have a conversation with my alcoholic drug addicted sister. Hopeless 😢
Ouch
Now I can see why AB didn’t stick around the NFL
Lol this guy reminds me of the people that talk to themselves in NYC.
I don’t feel bad for Antonio at all. Blaming his behavior on CTE is an excuse for him to act like an idiot. He signed up to play football.
He has always had behavioral issues, but in my opinion, the head injury definitely exacerbated his issues. Trauma and a big ego can be a dangerous situation. He really believes he’s untouchable and if he doesn’t humble himself, he will end up being humbled. I hope the best for him, but I’m glad to see him out of the spotlight of the nfl for kids to look up to and think it’s normal.
And eww, he’s hateful.
He's been slurring words ever since
Put yourself in his shoes. The most annoying thing is ppl bringing up a hit he doesnt like to talk about. It was a dirty play and he didnt get nothing out of it but a playoff win. Nobody cared. So he tries his best to brush it off
Great interview Ab 😊😊😊.
He definitely got CTE lmao 😂😂
Fasho
CTE is a neurodegenerative disease linked to repeated trauma to the head. The encephalopathy symptoms can include behavioral problems, mood problems, and problems with thinking.
I think that’s what we just saw here. I’m a fan of his work but his antics can’t be ignored.
he might just be dumb though
