He's obviously sharp. He's always had issues communicating it. I remember before the hit (there were a couple that were real bad) he was on a group show before it became popular. It was like a podcast on TV before podcasting became popular. Dude seemed high but he was grinning ear to ear and answering questions charming people. He just seemed like hecouldn't quite communicate.
