I got a memorial tattoo for my wife that passed away. Will never regret that one.
Rest in peace. ♥️
Rip
Shame
you that pearl jam last kiss type beat :(
In sorry to hear that
I got a tattoo for my best friend that passed away, I had to wait till I was 18 (moms rule) but he passed when I was 11/12 and we’d been friends since I was about 4
That's nice of you!
i'm sorry for your loss, i know what it feels like to have a friend pass away...hope you are doing well
Men’s tattoos be like 👁 🌹 🕰 🦁
I’ve seen sleeves with a stop watch and a clock right next to it like bruh
@@Gonzalez956 so what bro it's not on you so who cares.
Women's tattoos be like 🌸🌼🌷👩🚺♀️🤷♀️
Someone told me Liminy Snicket has the same eyeball tat near the ankle
Typical Women’s tattoo 🕰🌻🕊
glad my first tattoo is a "emotionally survivor" one. I designed a dead tree that has 5 main branches that represent the 5 years of depression I had and I have an owl on one of the branches which I learnt means learning lessons from things. I'm 3 years after depression now and I got it so I remember myself that I overcame 5 awful years to help me get thru future pains.
@Nadine Pardy hang on there my guy there is one lesson I've learnt from everything and that is every pain is temporary and it will get healed if there is someone that listens to you. you lucky you got a therapist. don't give up. i have a teribble condition goin on now as well but I love living life because there is so much things to appreciate in this world. hope you get well soon
Can you show your tattoo
@@heydhaba4575 sure drop of your ig id or twitter
Hey man Im going to get a tree tattoo for similarly reasons in a few days time, do you mind me seeing your tattoo?
@@sergiotorrent6536 drop me a ig id or smth and ill send it to u
I have a memorial tattoo for my cat. She died 2 years ago and it crushed me. She was 16 yo. It really helped. I got a portrait based on a moment where she was super happy and healthy and it always remembers me that she had a great life and the good moments we had. You don't regret those tattoos.
@@climaxtv5488 *Perv*
I only disagree with the mom's one, but thats because I dont get along with my mother lol.
True the mom one is 50/50
U only get one mother. Unless she did u wrong then thats a different story. But appreciate her cuz she wont be with u forever💯💯
Same lol. That’s why I clicked. Was wondering if anyone felt the same in the comments
50/50
@@lilxsoldier i agree. my is mom is crazy but I got her name tattoo on my chest
When I was younger I never showed my arms since I was embarrassed about my weight and the arm flab. I started doing CrossFit in my mid 20’s and have since moved on to powerlifting. Now I am proud of my arms and their strength, so I got my first tattoo on my inner bicep, the area I was most self conscious of. Now I am getting a half sleeve of patchwork, black work flowers. Some with meaning, some just because I like the style of the artist. Now I love my arms even more and show them off whenever I can! It reminds me of how far I have come from being self conscious to being proud of my body.
Glad to hear how much you’ve overcome and where you are today mentally and physically🙏🏼 wear those tattoos with pride because you earned them
@@justinkd Thank you!!
I got a shitty tribal tattoo when I was 16. It's faded, there's scar tissue and it looks awful lol I used to hate it, but it represents a phase in my life that was an important part of my development.
I wouldn't ever get it removed or covered up because it's like a window into my childhood and there's a lot of good memories attached to it!
Funny I found this video today. Literally just got a tattoo earlier today of a rose for my late mother. She had a rose tattoo on her right shoulder with names of her kids and husband on leaves adorning the rose. I got a rose with the roman numerals for the day she passed above them. Couldn't be happier with how it turned out and I can say with absolute confidence I'll never regret this one. My first tattoo and I couldn't be more excited for the more go come. Fly high mom I'll always love you.
I’m really sorry to hear about your losss. That’s definitely a tattoo you’ll never regret and always hold close to you. 🙏🏼
@@justinkd appreciate you bro, I agree.
I have a couple roses in my sleeve as well as a big clock set to the time I was born. I can’t see myself ever regretting those. As well as a phrase on my forearm to my late grandmother. I can’t imagine every regretting that because I’ll never not love and miss her
Getting something similar this Monday actually, I’ve sat on the idea for 2 years and I just can’t see myself regretting it in the future
I just got the last words my late grandfather said to me! That’s crazy, great minds think alike and sorry for your loss bro, grandparents are a gift to this earth
The first tattoo I will never regret is the name and a star of my stillborn daughter
🙏🏾
I’m getting a tattoo of a semi colon on the 21st of this month. The semi colon represents suicide prevention. When I was younger I took a bottle of pills and survived. I don’t think I’ll ever regret this tattoo
My most recent tattoo is I think my favorite and I know I’ll never regret it. I have a lantern on my forearm with a moth and some roses. I got this tattoo in July this year (shops had just started reopening in Colorado when I traveled there to get it). At the beginning of this year in January, (before all the COVID shutdowns happened and everything) I started getting really really depressed. I have bipolar disorder and so sometimes it happens, but usually I can just wait it out a bit and cope with it until it goes away. It didn’t go away. Fast forward to April/May, I voluntarily admitted myself to a stress center for four days because I knew that I would kill myself if I didn’t. I spent four days there, and I couldn’t be more glad that I did. I have so many more coping mechanisms and they adjusted my meds. I got the lantern to symbolize my strength to admit myself when I needed help and to hold on to that little beacon of hope even when everything seems dark. It’s an amazing piece and done so well. I couldn’t have asked for a better tattoo.
Damn that’s a crazy story you have and I’m really glad to hear that you’ve overcome it all and continue to push forward! There will always be good days and bad days, but now you can always look down and know that there’s light! Hoping the best for you 🙏🏼
Bro that’s an amazing tat stay strong 💪
I have a cat tattoo with a rainbow infinity sign symbolizing being diagnosed with autism at 17 and it was a huge relief for me because I struggled so bad in school work and making friends wise as a kid. So i totally agree with the personal victory in your life.
I have 2 full sleeves of nothing and honestly I absolutely love them all. It’s just traditional tattoos but I really do love them all. If I end up regretting them later in life oh well. I did what I did when I wanted it and that’s all that matters
@@ratsberry3190 nah, I just like to look decorated and interesting 😌
You did it when u want it but u hate it cant get rid of it.
@@goitomteklu2490 why would I hate it? Tattoos don’t always have to have meaning you understand this right?
@@goitomteklu2490 for me I just got a ton of American traditional designs that I love and I’ve had my sleeves for 7 + years now and I love them more everyday
I feel like you won’t regret them but you’ll see other things you wish you could have maybe put there instead. But like you said you did what you wanted when you wanted it 👊🏼
I'm getting my first tattoo tomorrow to cover one of my self harm scars. Thanks for the advice, been binge watching your videos
That’s awesome!! Time to cover those bad times and leave them behind. New chapter for you 🙏🏼👊🏼
These are all great ideas. Getting something to represent something you were afraid of and then conquered is a good one I think
Very big one 👌🏼
I just got a tattoo as a memorial for my friend who passed in January. It's a note she left on my wedding card in her handwriting. My other tattoo has huge meaning to me too but this one just hit differently and it's perfect.
I got a tattoo of linkin park logo and soon will be adding chester's portrait above the logo. This is very close to my heart. It means alot to me, more than i could ever explain
I think roses and dagger tattoos are pretty timeless
Keep up the great work Justin, you’ve helped me with my first tattoo, after care, and how to make it pop again. You’re awesome bro, and this channel is gonna blow up in no time.
I have a variation of a soldier field memorial done for my dad who passed away its my most treasured tattoo
All the tattoos I have represent my son and daughter. Something I’ll never regret ❤️
The ultimate safety net 🙏🏼
I'm getting a snowflake soon
It's resemble a hard time in my life that i learned a lot from
Get it 👊🏼👏🏼
I don’t regret any of my tattoos but the ones I’m willing to bet my life on that I’ll never regret is the portrait of my two sons on my hands. I love them so much & every time i see them it motivates me to be better & stronger.
i just got my angel wings and halo over my heart for my mom who passed last year when we were hit by an international harvester. I am 17 now
So my skin is full of scars, my childhood was full of self harm problems, that and having some sort of celulitis has made my self-esteem pretty low. I'm planning to get tattoos over this areas, I've survived self harm, and now I want to decorate my body and be much more confident. Thanks Justin.
What are you gonna put on your arms
@@minceraftfornite4334 Butterflies on my arms, and flowers on my legs probably ^^
@@sussybaka119 cool
He keeps saying “resemble”, but I think the word he should be using is “represent”... it bugged me the entire video.
Resemble
yeah it should be represent or symbolize
Ya i feel like all tattos that has a meaning behind it is beatiful!❤️
I got a little butterfly tattoo in appreciation of a song called 'butterfly' which gave me a lot of comfort and peace when I was a suicidal teenager. I am 24 year old perfectly healthy woman now and that song still has a fixed place in my heart and now on my forearm.
I have 5 tattoos and all of them have meaning so , I have 3 birds to represent my 3 older brothers , I have a semi colon to show my journey isn’t over yet , a mountain with the sun behind it to represent even in the darkest of places you can still rise and be bright , a Phoenix because rises from the ashes , and my most recent I got one of my cat that passed as she was there for me through my darkest days so when she was dying I had to use all the skills I learned from therapy and then when she passed my life started getting better so it means a lot
Good little list Justin. I think script tattoos in a loved ones handwriting is a nice memorial tattoo idea.
Whenever I look at my first tattoo it makes me smile. It takes me back to that time in my life. It's a crap tattoo and I've never wanted to cover it.
Love this
Anything pertaining to your religion or moral beliefs! Never regret those. I have a bible verse written in my dads handwriting on my inner bicep. Favorite tat
But what if you don't believe in those things later in life?
Drew Wells that’s a good point. I guess if they were so important to you at one point of time in your life, regardless of what you end up believing, you can still relish on the importance of the memory
black panthers are good tattoo ideas (american traditional especially) they represent strength and stamina and not to mention theyre good for cover ups too! i had this huge scar on my right forearm and i got it covered up with a panther and snake fighting
Very nice! I like how you used it as a cover up! Are you able to see the scar at all anymore ?
My mom passed away a year ago and I have her portrait on my forearm and I have never regretted it. I just got 6 butterflies around her portrait to symbolize her kids and grandkids. I absolutely love it and will know I will never regret it.
The only tattoo I have is a symbol that's use at the fitness place I go to. I want it to be a time stamp that has positive memories for me. I been to this place for about four years now and I love my instructors and classmates. I got the tattoo a few months ago but I'm never going to regret it unless terrible memories develop at that place.
Thanks for the suggestion. Gives some ideas in the future. I'm also afraid of getting tattoos I'll regret. I believe tattooing is a journey and should not be rush.
Even if some bad memories do come you’ll still have ALL the good ones to remember and triumph over the other
I love all seven of mine, with appointments for more. My favourite is the big spider across my chest. I have a lifelong fear of them so it was a kind of act of defiance to get a tattoo of one.
Same!
I agree 100%. Awesome content as usual. Keep up the good work!
Thank you Eric! Appreciate the support
My first tattoo is the adoption symbol cause I’m adopted. I won’t ever regret it.
I want to get a tattoo for my mom. I still don’t know exactly what I want for her yet, but I’m going to get it. I was thinking a paint brush with a red paint stroke because she’s an artist and her favorite color is red.
that’s such a cute idea!!
That’s an awesome idea! 👌🏼
I never knew there was an adoption symbol.
i’m 15 and i got my first tattoo a little over a month ago and i got my moms name with her birthdate in roman numerals with her birth month flower in the background, it took up almost my whole forearm and i love it
Do you still love it now? Not trying to be mean haha😅
I just got a bird tattoo on Saturday. My nephew's nickname is bird and it's for him
Amazing 🙏🏼👌🏼
That's cool. My son was nicknamed bird by his neice and he is 'uncle bird'. 🙂
I got a cross with a hummingbird and some flowers with some sus rays coming through the clouds with the date my grandmother passed away. Every single piece on this tattoo represents her from the sun rays to the hummingbird. Absolutely love it
I got my first tattoo yesterday. I got 2 peonies with a fern in the middel on my forearm. It seems basic but peonies were my grandma’s favourite flowers and she passed away a few years ago. I’m absolutely happy with my choice and I doubt I’ll ever regret this one :)
My 1st and only tattoo is a traditional black and grey bat covering the back of my neck. I feel like it's so timeless and it goes with everything. Nature tats and thick black lines are a good go to in my book!
My first tat that I just got! Gotta jesus piece on my entire forearm with the scared heart
You should do Satan on the other arm
I got a broken heart with numb under it to represent the depression that I had and I don’t regret it it reminds me of what I overcame
Just came across your vids and I can’t stop watching them! So good man and love the tattoos also!
Respect 🙏🏼 thank you and glad I’m able to entertain 👊🏼
JustINKD No worries keep up the good work!
I'm gonna get a tattoo with the name of my best friend from elementary school and the date she passed of breast cancer when we were in 4th grade. I'm thinking of getting it on my bicep as, like, a symbolic thing of how strong she was. I don't have ityet but I'm going to get it when I'm old enough, in a few years.
I created a coat of arms for my very first tattoo - lots of symbolism of my family and heritage and I absolutely love it
I have a back tattoo memorializing a motorcycle accident I survived over fifty years ago. It covered a surgical scar too. Generally, paralysis is considered a negative event. That’s just not how I roll. It’s negative that it happened but my life has not been wasted or sad, not at all. When I see or think about the tattoo reminds me that I prevailed and in fact did very well as a man with significant disability all these years. No regrets. Since those many years ago, I’ve had six wonderful dogs names placed on my biceps in script and the GPS coordinates (chest) with special meaning for me. Soon I’m planning to cover the ancient faded back tat. Right now it’s a wreath of roses, cover is to be a bigass scorpion. Also I’ve had an amputation preceded by several surgeries and plan a leg half sleeve when the scars heal properly. Stump to about mid thigh.
I have Hindu gods like Ganesh, Hanuman and Kali to represent my new found faith that help me with PTSD after abuse. I also have a bull to represent Taurus which was mine and my late dad's birth sign and Sanskrit saying father for him too. I will never regret any of that
An armband/roses & date of birth of someone important in your life.
I got 1 memorial tattoo for my cat, she was the first pet I ever own I had her when I was 4 or 5 she passed away when I was 16 definitely remember that age.
I will change the mum tattoo for a dad tattoo i got plans I’m getting a black and white portrait of a male Lion either looking down at his 2 Cubs which represent myself and my sister or a male lion with his 2 Cubs.
Other than that I do agree with you.
I always say to other people when they are thinking about a new tattoo. “Make sure it means something to you that way you’ll never regret it.”
I also want a memorial of my cat who passed away, he was the love of my life and I want him to be my first tat (but not in portrait style)
@@dtown_demon heey, that’s a lovely idea :)
@@simplylucky8021 thanks!!
I'm getting a mickey mouse soon. I loved him as a kid and so does my son. He laughs and points everytime he sees him. I can't wait to see that when he looks at my arm. And I really can't wait til he's older and asks me why I have mickey mouse on me
I got large turtle for me, small turtle for my son. Aquarium scene, love it!!!!!! Rudy did awesome job.
That sounds awesome! 👌🏼🐢
I got a koi fish to cover up some gnarly forearm scars from self harm. The scales of the koi hide the long, straight lines of the scars. I also love the symbolism of koi. Mine's face looks determined af. It's going to be a full sleeve but we wanted to start with the cover up tattoo.
I don't think I will ever regret it. The style is classic and will always look better than the scars it's covering up.
My favorite tattoo is my memorial tattoo for my daughter's black cat named Mouse. Azure always called her "my little black sunflower". It is of a black mouse holding a black sunflower. My second favorite is my raven skull with a rune on it and leaves around it. I have a couple of dozen tattoos and only regret one of them, because although I asked for gray in part of it the artist did it in black. This was done by the same artist who gave me the only one that really hurt (I have a very high pain tolerance and enjoy getting tattoos). I also have 30 piercings. Only a few of those hurt. With piercings and tattoos, healing is the part that sometimes really hurts for me.
I’m getting an American traditional Cardinal tomorrow for my grandmother who passed from cancer in 2013 when I was 11 💗
Goodluck and hope it went well 👊🏼
It went well!! I got it on my Upper arm and it took a little over 3 hours. 🥰 I so in love with it
i just got a rib piece a few days ago it’s a shaded black and gray rose that says “breathe” through the stem. there’s a meaning behind it and it’s my favorite tattoo i have and i’m completely in love with. i also have this matching one w my momma and shes my bestfriend so will never ever regret
I am getting a memorial half-sleeve tomorrow. It's covering up an older smaller memorial tat that has not aged well over the last 20 years. This one is for my Mom and my Dad, as well as two close friends who where killed on duty.
i have the Runescape "home teleport" runes on my forearm. Never will regret
Will never regret the 9 flowers I got for my immediate family
I am a week away from my first tattoo. It's three butterflies, one for my dad, one for my mom, and one for God. My mom always called me her little butterfly, and I just adore the symbolism and meaning behind it. I am who I am because of them. I know its cliche, but I will never regret honoring the most important people in my life.
Your videos have been so helpful in my tattoo journey! Thank you.
Your dad doesn’t want to be remembered as a butterfly or God 😂 thats weak 😅 kinda fruity
I'll never regret my full space sleeve, it's so unique, means a lot to me and beautifully done freehand by my artist, can't wait to start working on my next sleeve!
I've got my two cats and my late betta fish 💜 they mean so much to me and they helped me through tough times and now they'll always be able to bolster me when we're not together
I agree with you 100% I got a hummingbird and a flowers for my grandmother that passed away and it also symbolizes my growth in my life and how far I have came.. I also have a frog on the same leg for my other grandmother because that is what she has always called me since I was a kid is a baby frog…
I would love to send them to so u could react to them and tell me if they are good tattoo
i just got my first tattoo, which represent my mom and my roots. pretty sure i never gonna regret it lol
Awesome glad to hear 🙏🏼👊🏼
i have a treble clef music note on my arm and i love it
I got a memorial butterfly for my Oma. She raised me and I am beyond grateful for everything she’s done for me. I know she hated tattoos but she’ll deal with it… what she gonna do, haunt me? 😂🤧
Love my anchor/ reef tattoo very memorable and reminds me of things I've seen and done
My little brother wrote me a card when my Father died (we have different dads, same mom) and it had a sweet and adorable little doodle of a frog. I got it tattood on my hand it it always makes me happy when I see it. Especially when I drive since it's right in front of me.
I just got a memorial tattoo yesterday for my Track & Cross Country Coach from high school who passed away from Brain Cancer 4 years ago and I know for a fact I’ll never regret this one!! 💚
The tattoo I want to get the most and I don’t think I ever would regret is a small “KC” for my nephew and niece that were taken from us and put into adoptive care because of unhealthy decisions made by my sister. We don’t get to see them much and while we had them they brought an enormous amount of happiness to my life. The K and C would represent the first letter of their names Christian and Krystina. The tattoo would most likely be small and placed somewhere on my body that I haven’t thought of yet
Definitely get that tattooed!! Something simple but has a lot of meaning. I’m sorry to hear about the circumstances 🙏🏼
Not too small but not too big. Get it on your heart, not literally. I have my mum's death date (quite morbid, sorry) on that area.
I just watched another one of your videos earlier, but this one is making me consider tattooing my scars. I have a scar on my face from abuse, and scars on my arm from suicide attempts. Originally I wasn't planning on getting a sleeve on that arm, and possibly having the facial scar healed, but maybe I should get some kind of tat for them? Thanks for the inspiration, your videos are very informative!
I hope I’m able to inspire you to cover up those scars. Not to hide and forget them but to move forward, be happy and remember where you’ve come 👊🏼🙏🏼
I am aware a lot of you tubers and other people say don’t copy but I do love Lewis Hamilton’s back tattoo I think it’s just amazing I do fancy getting it
My mother’s favorite flower is a pink and yellow rose, I am gonna get that as one of my first tattoos. I will also get a cornflower as that’s my dad’s favorite flower. My first tattoo, planned for tomorrow afternoon, is a purple iris to represent my late older sister (she passed away at 6 months old before I existed), to represent her birthday (in February). I am planning on getting more, each as a floral theme but each representing another important person or event in my life so far (I’m 22 years old)
20K coming strong fam, lets get it !
Edit; Btw I agree that you will never regret a big milestone tatt, in my sleeve I have a date and a diamond near it when I dropped my addiction and made a promise to myself that I will change my life.
All the girls I meet or go out with ask me is that a date of your ex or are you married lmaoo
I’m getting my first ink in July. A Mexican peso coin to commemorate the two years I lived there as a missionary. Can’t wait!
I don’t think I will ever regret my first tattoo. It has significance in several ways. I also thought about it for a year before I got it.
The only tattoo regret I have this far is the placement of one of my tattoos. I love the tattoo but wish I put it somewhere else.🤷🏻♀️
Placement is such a huge thing. I to have this exact feeling of acouple. Love them but wish they were placed differently
Hey there, I love tattoo content and I really enjoy your videos! You're so helpful and insightful on everything tattoo. I totally agree that using tattoos to cover small skin insecurities is amazing and I plan on getting more tattoos to do that. I just wanted to comment though, please be mindful of how saying "no one wants to look at scars" can sound and feel to someone who is a self harm survivor. Ultimately it can be a source of regret and insecurity as well as anxiety around others wondering what they might think of the scars. I am wanting to get a moth to cover self harm scars on my stomach and two tattoos on both hips for the same reason :) Anyway absolutely no hate and I'm sure you didn't mean it maliciously but also please be kind to us!! ❤️
You’re right on how it can sound but know that’s now how I wish for it to sound or be
I couldn’t agree more I’m getting a black and grey Ocean Sleeve in November
I love both my tattoos i don’t regret them
All my floral tattoossss 🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸 and my memorial tattoo for my cat
Im gonna do a mom with a heart one because i love my mom and i can make it fit my traditional/old school style
Getting my cancer tattoo in about a month to symbolize my battle. Dope as hell you mentioned that kind of tattoo in the video. Shout out to your sister for being a survivor as well. Appreciate your videos bro looking forward to the next one💯💯
Damn hope you’re doing well in your battle! I’ve seen so many family members have to go through and deal with it so my sympathy is with you. You got this 👊🏼 thanks for the support
@@justinkd thank you man. 7 years cancer free now 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
This was awesomely helpful. Thanks so much
I have a memorial commemorative tattoo about my grandpa who passed away in 2019. I have his real heartbeat(from his last days in the hospital before he died) with his signature below it! I will never regret this tattoo because it means so much to me!
My first tattoo was a portrait of my son(with X MEN cap) with his quote he made up from the show GOT. "That's what it is. That's what it was..." It came out perfect and the font was from my guy from LA. It had that So. Cal. vibe. It also helps when the font is really nice. The portrait looks just like the picture! He passed away last February at 32 years old.
"Family is where life begins and love never ends"
Amazing vid bro. I have all 5 reasons part of my full & half sleeve.
Funny I see this video and the Tattoo I’m wanting to get is a commemoration of my fight with depression and anxiety. I’ve been wanting to get it with the meaning of in order to grow sometimes pain must happen and that’s what it’s felt like and man. I can’t wait to save and get it so I can look at it as a reminder that it’ll all be ok
The first tattoo I would never regret is my first ever tattoo that I got for my grandma when I first turned 18 in April. I put her last name on my arm.
Nope never still regret that 🙏🏼
My favourite and most meaningful tattoo is a clock set to my birthtime. Everything else is just decoration really.
Wolf tattoo 🔥 and finally got it past saturday
I have a mom tattoo on my inner bicep, got her zodiac with something she always used to tell me when I was a little kid in her hand writing, she was super suspicious when I asked her to write it down for me, I also got the tattoo because I figured maybe she won’t be mad if it’s for her 🤣. Regardless, one of my favorite tattoos and I’ll never regret it. Shoutout to all the MOMS!!!

I have three tattoos originally designed by my daughter and I’ve always been grateful to the artists who consulted with her for the final design. All my future ones will also be initially designed by my daughter.
