I have yet to find another makeup artist who makes the eyeshadow blending look that beautifully blended. If I didn't adore Jaclyn so much, I would hate her, lol. And, the color of her eyes - WOW! Going to be blunt...my 22 yr. old daughter was recently shot in the face. She now only has one eye & decided to make a drastic change to go with her eyepatch. She wanted to get her long hair cut off & change the color. I showed her your hair color & she decided to go for it. She LOVES it! Jaclyn, I have been doing makeup for about a year now, and I ran into a difficult client last week. I was doing makeup for her wedding, and we did a grey smokey eye. I was doing her eyeliner, but she ended up doing it herself because she wanted to do it her way, which I get that. We put on super thick lashes, but I thought we should do the lower lash line to even everything out. I wanted it to look more sultry, but she didn't want to. It bugged me soooo much! Lol do you have any tips to tell someone they should do something so it would look better, but still be nice about it? Or if anyone else has any? Thanks (:

I've run into similar issues with brides wanting very trendy looks that are in fashion at the moment but won't be in ten years when they look back at their wedding pictures. I also suggest something more classic and explain that they might cringe at their choice in retrospect but in the end I have to give them what they are paying for. I'll make sure that I have pictures with me next time so I can reference them when I make suggestions. I've also found that if I do beautiful make-up on a less fussy bridesmaid first, the others who want fully lined black eyes will change their minds once they see they can trust me to make them pretty.

***** Sometimes lining the lower lash line can close the eye a bit more, especially for people with very dark brown eyes (me) using a more brown/warmer tone on the lower lash line can help. I have found just a tiny bit on the outer corner can look really nice. For brides, a trial should always be done if possible to try different options- but it sounds like this person knew exactly what they wanted. I'm a bit like that, So I will be doing my own make up for my wedding :)

I actually really really love this look. I've felt a bit stuck in my routine lately, the same warm browns over and over again on my eyes. I love the idea of having the peachy colors in my crease and basically a barely warm white/cream on my lid. Just really lighten it up. Beautiful job - thanks for showing the whole thing too. I found myself studying not just the colors you chose but also the brushes and technique for application, even with it sped up. Caren Collins I checked out Tiarni's channel and I believe it is Jaclyn's picture. Look at the picture at 3:14 in his video. It's def. Jaclyn. They do have similar eyebrows though. And im not sure if im the only one who notices but Jaclyn's eyes sometimes look blue and sometimes they look like they do in this video lol :)

HerpDerpMapleSerp ' Exactly! To be perfectly honest, Im not the biggest fan of him anyway. While I can honestly appreciate his knowledge on the topic of makeup and what not, I find him to be a tad too pretentious for my liking. I don't ever see him actually responding to his fan's questions or comments which to me, takes away quite a bit of the "personal" feel I get with other gurus. Although I have learned a thing or two from him too :P (haha listen to me, I sound like a total hypocrite! I guess you could say I have a "love/hate" relationship with Mr. Goss) :P

I just gotta say this but i dont know what the hell is up with Wayne from gossmakeupartist because your eyebrows are GORGEOUS. For those who saw recent video where he used Jaclyn's picture as an example of the type of eyebrow he hates , you know what im talking about. Its his opinion and thats cool, but seriously, there is NOTHING wrong with her eyebrows, other than them being so damn on point. LOL. :)
That didn't look like her eyes it looked like a youtuber called tiarna staples. Similar eyebrows but eye color is slightly different
Caren Collins I checked out Tiarni's channel and I believe it is Jaclyn's picture. Look at the picture at 3:14 in his video. It's def. Jaclyn. They do have similar eyebrows though. And im not sure if im the only one who notices but Jaclyn's eyes sometimes look blue and sometimes they look like they do in this video lol :)

He was talking about how he hates the 'fade' brow but Jaclyn's aren't really like that so idk why he mentioned her. Hers look gorgeous. :)
HerpDerpMapleSerp ' Exactly! To be perfectly honest, Im not the biggest fan of him anyway. While I can honestly appreciate his knowledge on the topic of makeup and what not, I find him to be a tad too pretentious for my liking. I don't ever see him actually responding to his fan's questions or comments which to me, takes away quite a bit of the "personal" feel I get with other gurus. Although I have learned a thing or two from him too :P (haha listen to me, I sound like a total hypocrite! I guess you could say I have a "love/hate" relationship with Mr. Goss) :P

However many times you've uploaded a video of you putting your eyeliner on is how many times I've watched you do it and I still can't do it. Ugh.
I know a lot of people struggle with gel liner. Why not try a regular pencil liner or liquid liner and see if it is easier for you? :)
