- Concerns are growing among the Muslim population of the Netherlands who fear increased attacks and greater victimisation after a change of government. The party of self-proclaimed Islam-hater Geert Wielders won the most seats in the recent election, and is now expected to play a major role in the formation of a new coalition government. Whole Europe is in danger
As a western middle aged teacher (who happens to prefer to dress modestly) I've been called a kufar/kaffir/haram/shamudra/shamutra (pronunciation varies across moslem countries) by hundreds of students while teaching in government schools in multicultural Sydney. How I deal with that is one thing; non moslem female students now growing up amidst those attitudes is another.

No, you don’t. In the '90s, it was already common to practice 'positive discrimination' when applying for jobs. If there were jobs available, as a native citizen, you were often the second choice. This was encouraged by the government in the Netherlands, but also in Sweden.
Fortunately, most of them opted for welfare, so you could get a job anyway, but now you had to pay taxes for their welfare checks.
If you are from Sweden, then I would suggest taking it back to the '50s. That was when Sweden was as it was supposed to be-pure and beautiful.

Whenever I see these headlights about growing islamophobia etc. it always begs the question, if you don't feel safe and unwelcome in the Netherlands , why don't you just leave and go to a country where their is no islamophobia? Your assumptions that people can go "somewhere" is oversimplistic. A lot of people are born in the Netherlands and often times Dutch is the only language they speak, and Dutch citizenship is the only citizenship they have. A lot of them have just a bare-minimum command of English or even the language of their parents' origin. People also lack the financial resources to seek a visa or apply to college in another country etc. etc. Many don't even have passports! They are there because they are just there. People can't just decide to leave one day.
