For thickness consistency with polymer clay if you only have the rolling pin, use the same number of playing cards (2 stacks) on either side and place the clay in the middle. Keep each end of the rolling pin on one of the stacks of cards and it keeps the rolling pin from leaving ridges or making thin spots on the edges! Does that explanation makes sense 🤪? I hope so 😬 (just a quick addition to this AWESOME tutorial)
I’m wondering if there is a video for finishing yet? Like sanding and top coat? Because these are just a great way to do them. Not too bulky or thin. Perfect.
Thanks Karla!! Ugh, knew I would forget things! I will update the caption, thank you! I buy the Boye hooks from Spotlight as well, I wait for them to come on special, or use a coupon. They are quite affordable. You may be able to find a wholesaler for Aluminium hooks, but I have found Boye to be the best in the oven. The Clover Hooks I buy wholesale from Birch Creative, you need an ABN & buy in bulk, great way if you are planning on making/selling a lot. Hope the tutorial helps! xx

thank you for this tutorial the best i have watched
I love the embellishments but would like it a smooth design.
Pls make a vedio of that rainbow swrill hook... Please...
Sure! I can do that :)
Fantastic video. Is there a punch set with a period, or do I just use a pin to make the hole for the 5.5 mm hooks etc?
Great tutorial! Do we need to put the masking tape or can we skip that step?
X-acto knife
Thank you!! Where do you get the hooks!?

Nat, you're such a natural at teaching. I need to get a few tools and try to replicate my favorite hooks you have made for me.
Is liquid polymer clay an important step in hook making??
No, you don’t have to use the liquid clay. I just find it helps bond the metal of the hook to the normal polymer clay. But it’s not essential
Will there be next part vedio??
Yes there will be a few more videos :) hopefully another one this week
@@laylaswolf so excited
What temperature do you bake them for?
Every brand of clay has different temperatures on their packaging. I use Sculpey Premo which is 130℃ (266℉)
I literally bought clay but not liquid polymer adhesive ouff
Now what?
