Hi, I got this machine at Xmas time and have been dreading having to re thread it….your instructions were absolutely spot on, very clear without overloading unnecessary information. Many many thanks for taking the time to teach how to re thread the machine. I am delighted and can’t believe it worked first time 😊 you are clearly a great teacher……kind regards from Scotland.

That was brilliant. I had the instruction book and the DVD that came with the overlocker but this was much easier to follow

There’re always talking about using the best thread but what is the name of the best thread to use on the serger?

The lower looper thread which you left 10cm of, where does that go? do you bring that to the top or do you leave it hanging down??

Hi. Is this overlocker easy for a complete sewing novice to use please? Or would I have to have some knowledge of one beforehand? Im 70 yrs old and only started sewing on my sewing machine in the November lockdown. Thank you xx

Hey! The 8002DG is a great machine, it should be no problem at all for a beginner as that is who they are designed with in mind. The brother 2104d is another option, it has 'Lay-in tension' which some beginners find useful. Take a look at our video on the 2104d too if you haven't already. They are almost the exact same price, so both are a good option.
Feel free to give us a call and speak to one of our expert technicians if you have any specific inquires, as we stock both machines. We also do free lessons for our customers (and can even do video calls if you need any further help!). check out our website for our contact information!
