Reading Mountain Project, there is lots of talk about the P1 runnout. It looks like the runnout ends at 1:47. Can a less confident leader (e.g. me) protect that runnout with a piece before the traverse at 0:55 to prevent decking? Really awesome climb. Amazing considering the famous speed runs this place has seen from the likes of Osman and Honnold.
I believe they were tandem roped free soloing, so that if either falls the other will die too, to add to the spiciness. I saw him place a piece of gear at 1:47, which to me looks like 20 ft off the deck.
Nice. Going to hit this one on Saturday.
Thanks for the preview!
What a classic route. Loved the video.
Cheers!
What a beautiful climb! Really stoked to get on this soon!
Yessir! You coming back to the states here soon?
@@GravityLabz I wish! Looks like I have some recovery ahead of me, so maybe in the Fall/Winter. Keep up the epic climbs!
@@avivmilner2556 Good luck with recovery. Don't push it. They rock will still be there.
Nice climbing and great music!

Cool video. Thanks for sharing. Interesting location choice for the top out anchor though.
haha yes. the standard location was taken by a party so I opted to go further up.
Awesome video, as always. Can you give a time stamp for the "bear's reach" move, please?
Looks like 5:40
@@comet91 Thanks!!!
