LOL really laughed at the "Don't eyeball me!" part, because I guarantee when Sha'uri was still herself, she did that same look at times, and Daniel knew EXACTLY what that look meant!
You know, of all the episodes from the 10th Season, this one is my all-time favorites. And what made this episode so unique is how this civilization, unlike any previously encountered, portrayed the humans of Earth in terms of socialization and culture in the mid-2000s. Lol
His sarcasm really hits home for me sometimes. Like when he was in the submarine with the scientist who kept talking about how superior their swiss engineering is. Then when it fucks up, instead of helping Daniel just goes "But it's swiss!"... Dude had some zingers that are easy to miss.
Michael Shanks deserves an award, if not for his whole performance as Daniel, then for this scene alone. I love how he says "Shut up!" so exasperatedly. Also, I notice a lot of people saying that Jack rubbed off on Daniel, but I just saw an interview where Michael said that the times when he came off as "Jack-like" were just "Michael" and I can totally see it. I think we're just watching Michael Shanks here. 😂
Original Stargate SG1 Pitch: "... So the entire galaxy is populated by the descendants of ancient humans; some still living in the bronze age, and others far more technologically advanced than we are. The opportunities to explore different types of civilizations is endless." Season 10:
😂😂😂 I laughed when Daniel said: your our hostages. Then she said your no rebels. Daniel said: We’re ur captors. There’s school of etiquette. Then he said: We’re heavily armed!!!. 👈🏻That always makes me laugh.
Yeah. There are accepted ways of talking and behaving that are less likely to agitate your captors until your either released or law inforcement come in. charging.
10 years of being the diplomatic one finally made Daniel snap
Too much time with jack o'neill...
Love it
Plus their planet has some terrible decoration style and fashion sense. Would make me snap too.
@@kishascape He quotes Jules Winfield to them, or he CHANNELS Jules from Pulp Fiction's " Big Kahuna burger " scene. " What's up, kids ? ".
One of the reasons why Michael Shanks is one of my favorite SciFi actors.
It's really amazing that even in Season 10 Stargate SG-1 was still having really banger episodes like this.
I'm amazed that the series isn't in its 20th ( ? ) season by now.
@@DanielAppleton-lr9eq If only, the franchise really needs a reboot with a SG-1 like series.
@@musicalhistory4392 I *thought* that there was 1 streaming, or at least in development. Do we have to wait LONGER ? Sheeeshh.

you gotta wonder if this Daniel is channeling his inner Jack O'Neill.

I've linked this scene to people so many times. I had forgotten it was ME that uploaded it...
This is Daniels funniest scene in the entire series xD

This is my all time favorite scene in SG1. No matter how many times I watch it, I still laugh out loud. Which is awkward right now as it's 1:30 AM
Its 2:29 AM for me in 2020. Still funny
13:30 for me in 2022. Yep. Still fun.
This is the most Funniest hostage situation I ever seen.
One of my favorite episodes.
After so many Ori-Doomsday Episodes this was just so refreshing back then.
Don't eyeball me! :-)

Daniel finally broke

That was one of my favorite episodes with Michael shanks in it
That's why Daniel hates the Ascendants policy of non interference, If he didn't interfere this cat fight would have gone on all night.
Legit my favorite moment in the show.
O'Neill did say that Daniel would have a girl on every planet.
Don't eyeball me
There's a school of etiquette for being a hostage?
When most people take hostages they don't want to kill you so....maybe the main rule is respect your captors?
@@SeraphSeph Well, at the very least they don't want to kill you...yet. lol

Yes. It's generally summarized as "don't piss off the people with guns"
Haley Beauchamp and Danielle Kremeniuk. Woo baby.
Hayley is from the same place as Jonas Quinn.
There's something about Canadian women.
I think jack o'neal may have had a bad influence on Daniel Jackson
Women will fight over loves romantic stuff in any situation
