Can’t wait to see an R7 with a turbo kit.
Wait no more
We want to see street riding/highway pulls this is more power than an MT10 lol
Better have upgraded suspension because the 07 suspension sucks
my mt10 makes 160hp :P
@@IamMotionMedia pretty sure the mt10 is 160at the crank, not wheel.
@@axeami1354 nope mine is tuned and fully de-restricted making 160hp on the dyno
@@axeami1354 170hp to the ground after intake, tune, and exhaust.
By using E85 you're making this an exotic, impractical thing.
I recon you need to do a Tenere 700
We have to see this on the road man it’s sick
Sweet baby jesus 142 out of an 07?
Makes more power and torque than an r6
@@mr_sowong9464 It made more torque than an R6 when the 07 was STOCK. But yeah, 142 at the wheels vs 120 at the crank is also more HP.
it has a turbo!
I need this in my life
100rwhp gain over a lams mt07- man thats a sleeper for all those lam's fanboys. haha!
This will be the HO version pete. Lams is sleeved right?
@@Nerb1 Sleeves went out with the dodo bird. No engines are sleeved anymore with modern aluminum cylinder plating. They restrict them with throttlebody flow restrictors. I know the MT-07 also comes in a lower displacement version and that's probably with a proprietary cylinder head (destroked, or smaller bore pistons, or both).
I have a few questions
1. Where is the oil feed for the turbo coming from?
2. Why are you using 2 wastegates? The GT15 already has an internal wastegate - (pre-set to 13psi) why are you not using that?
3. Do you know the airbox volume?
4. Have you tested this on the road?
5. What is the turbo mounted to?
1. Oil feed comes from the main oil galley.
2. We are only using 1 wastegate, it is a modified internal one with a 7 psi actuator
3. Yes its correctly sized for the application
4. Yes its a lot of fun.
5. The turbo has 3 mounting points
Time to make a review vid!
@@extcreat So you are saying you are making 142 HP on 7 PSI boost ? 15 PSI one bar would be double atmospher and almost double power.. I guess you are pushing 1,000 RPM higher.. but would take close to 15 PSI to make 142 HP I might be very happy at 7-10 PSI and a mix of 50% E-85 and 50% E-10
E-85 can give a naturally aspirated chevy Truck engine 15% more power.. so under Boost E-85 may add quite a bit more HP over gasoline.
Plust your power is real wheel horse power the stock FZ/MT 07 has 74 Crankshaft HP considerably less rear wheel HP
@@mikeskidmore6754 you are trying to add too much math. Don’t you know turbos run on magic
Thats pretty cool .for a 700cc twin expensive for the mods engine build etc .. Nice to see a std engine on one around 7.5psi ĺ
it would be great a turbo in the triumph street triple 765 to increase the output torque. excellent work and, the video is very good
This must be a wheelie MACHINE
damn i cant imagine doing wheelies on a turbo bike lol. Just look at how at wot for the first couple of seconds the bike just bogs down right before scorching you in absolute power
This mt07 has become the Supra of the motorbikes
That is fkn wild almost double the stock horsepower with a turbo...
You would have liter bikes scratching their helmets on the highway.
No way the gearing is all about torque not top speed from 200 km most litre bikes will fly past but it a mt 07 ffs it's such a cool bike and I'm so lucky to have one 😀
@@bronson4216 That’s true, but they’ll be wondering why an MT07 is trying to race me from a roll, and why is he keeping up with me still? Then obviously the liter bike will pull out ahead at top end speed lol.
I will be going to fit a home built turbo kit to my cross kart MT07 powered, will reroute the exhaust over the top so the turbo can gravity oil drain. Will just need someone to remap my ecu.
I have an R7 and i love it. I like it much more than my R1.....
But i do not understand a turbo cost on a CP2 engine.
Is it like i have money i just want to see what i can do type deal.
Beast mode
That sounds FAWKIN NAYUSTEEEEYYYY BRUHHH!! 4:01 is where the magic begins!
Great video Ben
Changed the cam, rods, pistons, valve springs, headstuds... "So other than that this motor is internally stock" LoL, so we didn't change the crankshaft.
Air filter protected from the rain and water by the oil pan. Yea not so much I think.
not the best placement for that air filter regardless of what they say
that really Bothers me @Ivan Horvat .. an Outerwears sock would keep water out .. still a bad location .. for a bike used to ride in all weather
I wonder if this motor is still running.
Any idea what the lag is like with the turbo mounted so far down the exhaust? Yamaha just filed a patent for a turbocharged twin and it features a conventional setup with the turbo immediately near the exhaust ports. Great numbers btw.
Hi. Where did you read that yamaha is gonna do the turbocharged bike. Because I saw news of them speculating about it but not final word like you saying. Coz I would love to read up on that
There's no lag because the turbo is sized correctly.
@@extcreat "There's no lag because the turbo is sized correctly."
- LMAO - don't make me laugh.
Sounds similar but even better than an R1
Hey fellow Aussie where is your shop located? Sydney by any chance ?
Sweet machine! I am looking for a replacement turbo for my 85 Kawasaki 750, have you guys got anything for those?
Make a turbo kit for the tenere 700. And I'm sold. Good stuff.
damn I wonder if you guys will hit 200hp with a intercooler or some other trickery! pump that rpm out to 11k!!!!
Love the vids ... But pls can u guys drop more vids 😀🤙
Yeah I need this on my fz
Is a 700 cc parallel-twin worth that amount of aftermarket work? The less cylinder you have the less efficient a turbo will get. You would have the same result with a GSXR-750 stock with pump gas.
A GSXR 750 can only dream of making 92 ftlbs of torque though.
@@extcreat A good bang for your buck would be the zx-6r four cylinders. With a Haulin shocks upgrade you would have a bike that can begin to rumble with Supersport but with the insurance and license plate cost of a sport touring. In Canada that's 2000 CAD per year of difference.
Its worth it just to see what happens. One simply doesn’t need another reason. I’ve been doing ‘pointless’ tuning all my life, its cost me a fortune and I have met loads of interesting people along the way! Just do it chaps 🤪
Could you do this on a 2022 R7? I'm aware you have a turbo kit specifically for the R7. Could you also tune the R7 for 85? I'm interested!
Yes that's next.
Cool but you've turned a fantastically reliable engine into something that won't go very long.
wanna see cb650 turbo please , I never see .
Wow 😳 love it I want one
Hi the exhaust that comes with the kit does it have a db killer or some papers to be street legal?
Fantastic really, but swingarm is what I'm looking for many years. Please answer? 🙏
They are available from our store www.extremecreations.com.au/mt-07fz-07-xsr700-4-6-swing-arm-extensions-new-2
What did you guys use for engine management / ECU?
wow i have never felt so attracted to something in my entire life
Hey guys I’m building my MT07 stunt bike and I wanna run your handbrake bracket etc I am wondering can you guys organise me a caliper / lever with the bottle reservoir / etc I’ll run my OEM caliper and add a second one etc how much would it cost?
Nice bike 😉💪
Ahah You are awesome guys 170nm of torque! And Only at stage 2 engine! I Will wait for a stage 3 engine bigger psi turbo and more torque😆😆😆
Where are you read 170Nm?!! I see approximately 90 FtLb, so approximately 122Nm...
Are those the stock internals? if so how long do you think it will last on 142HP?
Did you watch the video
@@extcreat i must admit, that i didnt watched the whole video, im sorry.. So.. would you tell me nevertheless? :D
ok i read the description... where did you get the parts for that i don't know the brands or where to get them. Cruelo rods? standard forged pistons? i would love to know where to get them. thx great work
@@extcreat hahahahaha the audacity mate hey 🤣 commenters who don’t watch the whole video and just blab on

Hi there, if we install the turbo, is the bike can use for daily use? Or long ride.. how about the fuel consumption, sorry for bad english..
Yes our turbo kits are designed for daily use, fuel consumption is not affected while cruising only when on the power so it depend on how you ride it.
@@extcreat thank you so much!!..
My God!!! 142 Hp
These 142 hp were with how many PSI?
5:35 😱 OMG 😍
I keep finding this kit when looking for a ninja 650 turbo kit. Will this intake manifold even fit on one?
No its completely different.
how much can you do my 19 mt07 for? turbo charged and dyno?
Whats happening at 5k rpm? I see/hear this little drop with a lot of turbo engines. Can someone explain?
It's the wastegate opening to control boost, it's more noticeable at higher boost levels as the boost is increasing more rapidly then the wastegate has to level it off.
Is this better burning fuel than e98 in Europe?
XJR1300 ...?????? could you do this for that?
Link to e85 kit and clutch springs ?
Any plan on turbo some small older 2 stroke 125 bikes?
I don't know much about mechanics but from what I've heard, small displacement turbocharged engines are not worth it. Can't tell you the reason anyway.
@@henriquefranca9145 125cc 2 stroke stock make around 35hp, and some turbo boost it up to 60hp+
that means from 180km/h to 220km/h+
@@henriquefranca9145 but yeah small displacement 4 stroke is not worth it.
@@phamdinhhoang1998 Well that makes sense... So it means that the effectiveness of a forced induction system is defined by how much power the stock engine can produce (instead of its displacement) I guess? Since 2 strokes produce more power than fours of the same size.
KABOOM
And why a 07 and not a 09 or 10?
Is it possible to get over 100hp with high compression pistons and forged rods?

oh sure i sell my fz-07 and theeen someone comes out with a turbo kit for it... smdh oh well that kit probably costs as much as the bike. rather get an R1 at that point. though i don't see an intercooler is it water to air built into that intake plenum? i wouldn't drop that kind of money on something non intercooled.
Hey @FZ Trout running it on E-85 have some one explain to you how much E-85 cools your intake
@@mikeskidmore6754 I know how much it can cool the air in the intake. I'd still rather have an intercooler because not everywhere sells E85. Where as an intercooler is with you everywhere you go. Also don't be a douche in assuming that I don't know anything about the world of modifying vehicles. I done so plenty of times to know I'd rather have an intercooler over having only E85.

Will you do MT 10 turbo
Or R1 turbo

How much for you to make me a kit?
How many lbs are you running now?
It peaks at 15psi & tapers off to 12.5 at the top end. We are about to fit an electronic boost controller to give better adjustment though.
@@extcreat oh ok nice. Do you think it has more in it with this turbo? Oh and are you gonna offer a internal parts package? Definitely interested 😬
You better upgrade the lousy stock fork if you intend to actually ride it
It is allready upgraded

wtf, where can i get this kit?!

I'd put the intake filter elsewhere, that's stupid
How much
This kit available?
Yes, please look on our store page. www.extremecreations.com.au/yamaha-mt-07-fz-07-turbo-kit
My only issue,is where the air filter is(for Scottish roads). Very tempted otherwise, would bring the power up near to the original i'm making a replica of(Instagram 'macrae85' to see the build)...i maybe in touch next year...regards
There’s no way you can do a 3rd gear pull with that. Power wheelies all day
Nah he made the wheel base longer so that it doesn't wheelie as easily
This is how you spend $14,000 on a $7,000 bike 😲
Get it for 5k and spend 5k on internals and turbo kit to be faster than a r6....sounds fine with me.
Wtf 140 hp?
Bike like this needs supercharger not turbo, low end torque is non existent
the music ruined this otherwise interesting video
Why? why dump so much money into an entry-level cheap bike?
Why not ? You can buy an expensive bike and put no money in it or you can buy an entry level cheap bike and put as much money in it as the expensive bike cost , I go for the second option, way more fun
@@surronzak8154 exactly my point
