idk why this shit got recommended to me years later but entertainment back in the day was so much better. I was hooked watching this whole thing more than any youtube or netflix series in the last year. Crazy
People who grew up in the 80s thought entertainment was better then. People who grew up in the 90s thought entertainment was better then. Get over yourself.
Good memories playing UT2004. I got to play some of the best players in the world too. Probably the most competitive I'll ever be at a game in my life.
In fact - i first time check first Unreal only in 2004 year (or maybe even in 2005), when i got Unreal Anthology (Unreal, UT, Unreal 2, UT 2004). I was wondering - what is it this first game? And... it's blow up my mind! It's realy blow up my mind! In 2004 (or 2005), when we got games like... don't care;) This world! This fast and smart enemies! And... this music!!!
I wonder what would happen if like... 1 person back then had the technology to create No Mans Sky, and then released it at E3 back at the same time as this... People's minds man. They'd be blown to bits xD
Not that I know of. I'm sure they're working on the series still, I just hope it's a single-player title with only mild multiplayer elements like Doom 3(but better) with that great atmosphere intact, and preferably less manly characters.
Just to think the Unreal 4 engine is by far the best game engine. Best game engine is where the artiest themselves get to do more work instead of pure programmers(who sadly are not as creative)
quake 2 December 9, 1997, unreal May 22, 1998... Unreal is prettier, but the core tech behind the two engines is close. I have both engines. I've made a quake 2 demo in unreal 1 engine and a unreal 1 demo in the quake engine. I'd say Tim Sweeney and John Carmack need to team up. Update: quake 3 was released in 98 quake 3, a few months later after unreal 1. Sorry but you can take the quake 3 engine and make a unreal 1 game. Still unreal did a good job.
@@anthonyhutchins2300 not at all. Complete shit show of a game when you play UT you got a full game experience of what an arena shooter is. Fortnite is just constant grinding for skins to appeal to children.

Man, I appreciate you so much for putting these here. I'm sorry to say. But once these are gone for whatever reason. We will never see them again.
With that being said. I truly love everyone who has watched this. Best wishes from Canada.
Unreal engine still dominates the industry to this day...

First time I played Unreal Tourney was on the the Dreamcast.
Came here after unreal engine 5 released! What a ride!
A reminder of when Epic wasn't just "The Fortnite Company."

I thought it was pretty interesting but cool that the latest Guilty Gear, Xrd, uses UNREAL Engine.
A year late but with the upcoming release of the new unreal engine i wouldnt be surprised if they created it as a tech showcase. Idk about Ut though.
Anyone else miss this epic games?
boy, if only we knew back then how they'd take it all offline...

I haven't heard much of this series. Is a new game in the works yet?
Before it was a video game engine
Old, I know, but where's the support for the Pre-Alpha? Where, Cliff? LawBreakers is butt.

One of the games that stands as a legend in my books. Too bad the later ones got goofy and stupid.
Too bad Cliffy left Epic
And then... Fortnite.
Its not the games fault that it got so big... Fortnite is actually a pretty cool game when you really think about it.
I've only played it once though lol

god i wish epic would stop fucking around with fortnite and finish UT4. Such e sports potential with that game.
