Please note that it comes with windows 11s (safe mode). With S mode on you’ll only be able to download apps approved by Microsoft ONLY. However, you can opt out but REMEMBER you cannot go back to S Mode once you’ve gone off S Mode. That’s the reason why this Frenchman wasn’t able to use adobe on this tablet. You’re welcome
Hi! I am a university student who owns an HP pavilion. For lectures I would like something smaller and portable. I was therefore thinking of getting a 2in1 tablet. Mostly I need a device to take notes in class on Microsoft Word and then in the evening transfer the documents to my HP at home on a memory stick. So I wanted to know if I could install Microsoft Office on this XIAOMI like on a normal PC. Thank you for your reply!
If you use mainly office then get a Samsung tab or the Xiaomi pad 5. You could wait for the new iPad standard and there's a new Lenovo tab and Xiaomi pad 5 coming out this year as well, there's also s6 lite update rumours. This tablet is mostly for POWER users who enjoy windows but want a tablet form factor. Things like ad blockers or full desktop apps. I like windows tablets because I use Adobe apps and I don't enjoy RUclips ads.

@@70shahin if a sim card is a must then you're definitely looking android not windows. The only windows tablet with SIMs are arm based like the Microsoft pro X. Because Snapdragon has integrated controllers for mobile networks in most their chips. As far as I know these are the releases for end of 2022 and early 2023. iPad pro overhaul, iPad original update, Xiaomi pad 6, Lenovo pad pro, tab s7 lite and some random more expensive ones like the Lenovo x13 or dell XPS 2 in 1. If you can wait I suggest waiting till Julyish time next year. We'll likely see 12th gen matebook E, 8cx gen 3 book s or even a new boy in the block like an update to surface.

The best way to gauge a product is through looking at official reviews seeing if there are consistencies and then take a little look at the trouble shooter forums or customer reviews. Especially for things like battery life because the battery life testing they do is absurdly dumb circumstances and doesn't show different usage levels. I don't mind stuff being not open source you know these are companies that require a profit it's just open sources profits align more with customers than a pure closed eco company. The only thing I hate about open source software is A) you have no real idea if it's blatantly lying B) It's community based which doesn't help if the community isn't working effectively. Like Linux where you can transfer features between distros but it is a massive faff just to get a feature in some cases.

Yes exactly for the basic software it's working fine. Some don't but it's most specific ones.
