What a joke, the car is a total wreck and he’s trying to make it sound like a winner. He just put tires on it yet says they are 17s and clearly they are 18s. Got warning lights out the ass and leather is all torn up. Tune up is an understatement, ass.
I know someone who just got the same model 08 in June of 2020 from Long Island, NY. 120 on the clock so far so good.... two months in they had to drop $800 to buy a new radiator and check an oil or transmission fluid leak
My 2008 rdx still working like new even better than my 2016 CR-V, last month I replace four sway bars and one Air conditioner relay switch by myself cost only $70, Ready 167000 miles now. I drove this car many times around 1800 miles in one day never had any problem, solid and strong, special on windy or snow, love it too much. the seats are very comfortable, use regular gas is fine, 18 miles per gallon daily drive around town, 30 miles high way trip. We love it very much.
I own one of these in really nice shape that I have kept up in mint condition. I like how fast these are and the reliability is good. To anyone who buys these, keep up on the fluid services and the car does not respond well to failure to keep up services. The example you have looks like one that would be good for someone looking for a running daily driver. One of the issues I always have with mine is struts breaking.
Could you see it visually broken? I'm having clanking noise over every gap in the road. The shop said it might need control arms, now I'm wondering if it's the front struts instead?
We had a 07 RDX until a few weeks ago.....1/5/2020. My wife looked down to do something and totaled it against a parked van (15 mph max, airbag deployed, no injuries). Well if someone is revving it at 6,000 rpm, ignoring dash lights and running it while its on E. With break in attempts, then there are gonna be problems. Unfortunately this is the car that many will just let this happen to, because it costs more to keep than to buy.
I agree. Beating on any car is plain dumb. I have babied our '09 RDX. 157,000 miles and going strong. Just glad the price of 91-93 octane has dropped. The colder it gets here in NW Ohio, the faster the mpgs drop. 19-20 mpg is about the best I can expect in cold weather.
