Shelley and Markie actually *were* on the show at the same time once. It was during an all-star, celebrity charity week on CBS' *"$25,000 Pyramid"* in late '87. The teams were Markie Post/David Naughton, Shelley Smith/Susan Blakely, and Lynn Redgrave/Ken Kercheval. *GREAT* gameplay that week.
It’s a shame that John couldn’t play in this tournament he was one of the 4 who qualified along with Toby but because of a military assignment he couldn’t play. Such a shame.
Considering the recent version taped at CBS Studio Center and the Osmond Era shot at Sony Pictures Studios, this could've been the tech staff had the syndicated version been shot at either of those studios: Associate Director NANCY SHERMAN Stage Managers SAL BALDOMAR, STU GOLDMAN, DEBBIE WILLIAMS Technical Director CHRIS DONOVAN Director of Photography (e) ALAN WALKER Audio EDWARD L. He was fully committed to Wheel of Fortune, it seemed. It was largely a tossup of announcing between Charlie O'Donnell and Johnny Gilbert, except at times for Bob Hilton and Dean Goss.
Yeah this show is massively overrated. It's basically the lightning Round from Password but instead of being limited to one word you can say as many words as you want. The only reason why people care about this show is the amount of money it was giving away.
Shelley is nothing less than brilliant.
Shelly was the best pyramid player ever
Gone too soon:(
I think so too.
R.I.P Dick Henry and Shelley
I didn't know Shelley had passed
How do they change to color from Red to Blue
I didn't know Shelly Smith died
Me neither...till now
She is lucky to have guessed confidential as Shelly was about to say private something amd private is a synonym for confidential
This was one of my favorite game shows.
Would have loved to have seen Shelly and Markie Post be on the same week, Maybe the two best Pyramid players ever
Well, except for Billy Crystal.

@@jmiller297 Oh wow! I didn't know that

Two of the gorgeous players.

Another reason to be pissed off with the governmenf .
*government
Only three players qualify for the tournament.
16:18 The 1991, John Davidson-hosted version would come back from commercial like this...

The challenger now had to go back and get that answer himself, but was never given any hints before skipping…
Pharaoh of pyramid
How did Shelley Smith Die?

From Jack Clark's last week.
He was fully committed to Wheel of Fortune, it seemed.
It was largely a tossup of announcing between Charlie O'Donnell and Johnny Gilbert, except at times for Bob Hilton and Dean Goss.
Jack also announced the first week of the first tournament with Vicki Lawrence and Henry Polic II, I thought that was his last week
😅😅g no
Ibig
I
One of the few times on $100,000 Pyramid where we hear Jack instead of Johnny or Charlie
Could he not say the star of Falconcrest to describe Jane Wyman?
Im here because of Flo and Kay
John is smokin' hot!
And it goes without saying that Ms. Smith was pure class.
On top of that he was wearing the uniform of our country

I loved when Shelley was a celebrity guest. Beautiful and intelligent! So sorry to hear of her passing in August 2023.
all of the celebs from this one are no longer with us :|
I was afraid SECRET was CONFIDENTIAL.

I disagree.
@@justin271995 I respect your opinion. Me personally I just don't see the hype with this show.
This couldn’t be further off.
@@oboh-nc9os explain how I'm wrong
I totally disagree but that's okay. I love the show and how Dick Clark hosts it.
